When the truck comes to a complete stop and accelerates again, it makes a quiet click sound from the rear. It also clicks when I make a turn or u-turn especially when going uphill. I've had to bring it to the dealer 3 times for them to fix the problem but it has yet been solved. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks.

sounds like one of the CV shafts making the noise. this is the shaft from the differential to the wheels

You might have something stuck in or around the drivetrain that's making the noise; a piece of road debris or some such. if the noise is intermittent, then something is likely to be swinging into the path of a moving drivetrain part, or is hitting the road and rebounding into the undercarriage.

Either that or you might have a drivetrain problem, bearings, u-joints, or the like.

Climb under the truck and take a look at where you think the racket is coming from. You might see something the mechanics missed. I know they get paid to do these things, but it's not THEIR truck, so they could really care less as long as they get paid for the job.

Ok listen good torsion bar anchors click and the sound comes from the floor behind the seats at the rear of the cab. Is that a good explanation? if so use another 5 points and I will tell you both repair procedures. Sway Bar Links up front look good? That noise gets confused too.

it sounds as if the universal joint is worn. tell them this at the shop or you can check it yourself .get under the truck and try to move the drive shaft back and forth like in a twisting motion. if this has any play at all then you have found your problem
