ok i've been crazy about this guy who was in a relationship for the last 3 months and i've been patiently waiting for my turn and have became very good friends with him in that time...today his g/f dumped him and i talked to him and he was very depressed about it...how long do you think he needs to get over her??and when would it be safe to show him my interest and make a move???...also we'll be going to different schools next year ..do you think its a bad idea to be in a relationship with someone from another school who i won't be able to see that often??

if you hang out a lot, i think he may already like you.

if you go to different schools and all of a sudden start seeing each other, chances are that he'll cheat on you or you'll cheat on him or you'll both grow apart... or worse, he'll just be using you to get over his ex and/or to make her jeolous.

take it slow. you've got to build up a more solid relationship with this guy. you had the right idea when you became his friend.

hang out together whenever you have the opportunity.

mall/movies/pizza/bowling/park/club/mini golf/ riding your bikes around the neighborhood/ goofing off in walmart/whatever you two like to do...

take things real slow. he needs a friend right now. it may take a month or so for him to recover from his ex. be patient. concentrate on having a good time and enjoying his company.

sooner than you think, things will fall into place.

ps) don't try to dress sexy or flirt or none of that- be yourself. i think that's why he left his ex in the first place- he likes you because you are you. and not just some girlfriend type.

but some new make-up and a few new cute (not slutty, but attractive) shirts wouldn't hurt... ^_^

I think that you should give him some time to get over it. You don't want him to jump into another relationship if he is not ready because it might hurt your relationship in the end. Just continue to be there for him as a friend and when you see his depression changing maybe go out with him on a more intimate level. You do not want to be the rebound.

As for going away, if you do end up dating and you are right for each other, the distance should not matter, you should be able to work through it.

I think you should first keep talking to him as really good friends. His girlfriend just dumped him, chances are he needs your support there. Then start to be more flirty with him and see if he catches on. If he does show him that you care for him more than a friend and dont want to hurt him in anyway.

Don't think about it. Just go up to him and say that you feel strongly for him and you want his bod. I don't know any guy with brain one that would turn down a flaming passion like yours....do you wanna go out some time?

you're on the rebound girl... most people who just gotten a break up would be easily caught by a girl who show interest on him, specialy if the guy is depressed... however, if he recovers from his depression, you better be alert to defend your territory against a possible come back of his ex...

you should talk to him now but, take it slow. And as far as another school, I hope you can trust him because another will do the same thing to you.

as long as his girl wants, you just stay out off it, as soon as his girl gives him a call, he will crawl back to her, go and look some where else.
