On the CRJ-200 the waste from the toilet is stored in a tank and is off loaded after landing much like an RV, waste water (grey water) from the bathroom and galley sinks is vented directly overboard through heated vents (to prevent the water from freezing) the water hits the airstream and is instantly turned into a fine mist as we are going around 400 MPH

It is held in a storage tank and removed from the aircraft by ground personnel when the aircraft is being serviced between legs. Any stories you have heard of waste being jettisoned on people's homes are "blue water" stories. There is a small vent where air is allowed into the reservoir where the blue water is held that can leak small quantities if the aircraft is in turbulence. The water freezes onto the aircraft because its cold outside. As the aircraft descends, it begins to melt and can fall. This ice is perfectly sanitary and any cases of it falling overboard are extremely rare, though they do happen. Human waste is never dumped overboard or allowed to leak in any way.

when you go to the bathroom it is flushed down into a special tank and waits there until they land when they land a special trucks comes to the airplanes and sucks all the waste out of the tank.the bathroom is just like a portu potty when u flush it it goes down into the tank area. and then it taken out .BUT...... i was just reding and it says that some people have found "blue ice" on their houses and boats so mabe they do dump the waste somtimes of or maybe they are faking it. the FAA wont give any info on the way they dump their waste

You flush with the same water you do your business in.
A truck does whats call a lav service when the plane is on the ground.
the blue die is added to keep the smell down and make the water look more appealing.

I believe it goes into a holding tank and is then drained after the plane lands.. like a toilet in a boat, camper, or tour bus.

Actually, its 'high pressure chemical flush' which makes the stuff to evoporate or something like that. I don't think it's stored in a tank and cleaned when the plane is landed.

It goes into a holding tank and is transfered to a truck on the ground. After that it goes into the local sewage system.
It is NEVER jettisoned in flight.

It's usually just dropped out of the plain while it's in flight over water. If it doesn't fly over water It's pumped out at the airport.
