OK, I am currently in a long distance relationship with a woman who lives in Toronto. I live in New York City. Yes I do get those feelings each and every day. What do I do, look at her picture, call her and talk and sometimes just think of happy times w have spent together. We only see each other once every 2-3 months but it works. Plans are being made for us to get married at this time. Keep the faith my friend and things will work out for the best. If it is meant to be it will happen. Just keep your head high and things will work out for you.

Yes, I've felt this. Like my bones are actually twisting! You are getting a whole lot more than I ever have. My bf went overseas to be with his ill mother. Sadly, she pass away. Since then, because it is so expensive, he has only called maybe 3 times in the six, going on seven months he's been away. He doesn't write, he doesn't email. He claims laziness is the reason, but he still loves and wants me; when I call him! I have learned to move on with my life. I have stopped trying to contact him after letting him know I feel abandoned. The ball is in his court and if he still wants me and loves me, like he always says when I do break down and call, he'll have to reach for me. I told you this to make a point.
Your situation is totally different. You should be secure in the knowledge that your loved one and you are doing all you can to keep the lines of communication open and actively expressing your love and commitment to one another. Appreciate that! In the meantime, do more on your own to keep yourself occupied while you are apart. See friends, read, write, get out of the house. Volunteer to help someone or some cause. You are blessed to know your love is secure. Again, appreciate that.

I am going though the same thing right now and I know the hurt feeling that your talking about on the inside your stomach, heart, head and everything else! Just try telling your partner how you feel and your partner may see if it's something that they can do to make things a little better until you both can move together!!! When I get sick I make a call to let my partner know just how much I love them and can't wait to be together again!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the same boat, but my husband is on a different coast. I really dont handle it. I just moved to this area, and no one understands how i feel.. I listen to music alot, because it expresses how i feel. I just saw my husband and we are looking into november for another flight. We are trying to figure out financially how we can be together after his deployment. It's a hard road, and you just have to tell yourself its worth it. Find goals, like mine is to get back down to a size 5, so i can surprised my husband with my new look. Find friends (i have found it difficult, becuase of the differentness of my situation). look foreward. cry a little.

There really is no way to get over that...the best thing is just to not think about how much you miss the other person and keep busy in the off time

Yes and important not to reflect that or take that out on each other. If you truly can move closer to one another...then it's worth it...if not - it's not worth it..so be sure on that one.
But since you say you have plans in the making to move closer to one another..then keep your eyes on the prize - on the light at the end of the tunnel.
Good luck to you both! : -)

Yes, and sometimes I feel panicky. I just have to remember that things will be different very soon. The hope of having a happy tomorrow keeps me grounded today~

Yes, I have felt that way before. However, I pray to God and ask him for serenity and to just protect my loved ones while we are apart, and then I feel so much better. Works for me anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!
