The only thing to fear is fear itself.

You will do fine in the public school system. Before you know it you will have a lot of friends. Especially when you tell them about your experiences in France.

The important thing is to stay up in your studies and RELAX! Have fun with this new experience! Don't be nervous!

It's definitely a whole different world out there in public school as far as the environment goes. I mean the work load and school work/material learned is going to be about the same.Kids can be brutal.. lots of cliques and its hard to fit in just make some friends join some clubs and try to adapt GL = )

Don t be scared you wil meet friends maybe not the first day but you will make a lot of friends. School could be fun and boring but the fun part is making cool friends and hanging out. But stay away for bad people that could get you in trouble. Learning can be fun do.

Sweetheart, I can tell from your spelling that homeschooling wasn't very good for you. You do need to be in public school. You will be nervous and it will take time to adjust. Just be very careful who you make friends with. Be polite to everyone, but don't expect everyone to be polite to you. Just take it one day at a time & you'll quickly learn a routine, and learn who to trust to hang out with.

There is a lot of peer pressure but you have to be stronger then that. Be yourself. Try to find people that have similar intrests to yours. Smile a lot. Just be normal. Get involved in after school clubs so you meet more people. Don't be shy. Just relax, its not that bad =)

Public schools are just like getting home schooled but you dont get pictures and have band and hang out with others in your class.

First is peer preasure. Everytime you go to a new school, you are kind of scare, because you don't have friends! But take it easy and you'll make new friends. Just give them a chance.
