As an atheist, are you saying you would care?

It really depends which God you mean. The Christian Gods (God, Jesus, and the gang) will demand that you repent first and then listen to lots of bad rock music; since Christians believe that no believers of other religions can get into heaven. The Jewish God won't care so long as you live a decent life; Judaism believes that all people who live a good life, whether they are Gentile or Jewish, can get into heaven.

Interestingly, Jesus himself takes that position in the gospel of Mark. Unfortunately, that liberalism was removed by the Church Fathers in the 1st and 2nd centuries, so now it's their way or the highway. To Hell. AC/DC?

Personally, they can stick it. If there is an afterlife, then how you live is infinitely more important than what you believe or how often you pray.

Never. No way. Try to establish ur belief from now on. Come on... what u think the world is created itself?? U think the nature is the creator of nature?? it's dumb thing to think. Isn't it a better and wise thought that someone most powerful created all these things and running all things according to his own will?? what u think dude?? GOD will never forgive as written in religious books. But who knows! GOD may change his decision... Coz God is GOD!

that's a tough one atheism for the most part is the belief that there is no God, i think God does want to forgive you. I hope you will accept Him into your heart and be saved. I will pray for you so that you can find inner peace and see for yourself what you should do.

God can forgive anything. Our God is a gracious God. But you have to ask for the forgiveness before He can forgive.

Most definitely. I was an Atheist for 58 years. And Lord I am so sorry.
God performed a medical miracle on me. I begged his forgiveness in Jesus name and he forgave me.

Will you forgive humanity for inventing God?

2006-08-29 06:05:14 · answer #9 · answered by Blackacre 7 · 1 0

Yep, an all good god wouldn't care if you believed in it or not.

"It is an insult to God to believe in God. For on the one hand it is to suppose that he has perpetrated acts of incalculable cruelty. On the other hand, it is to suppose that he has perversely given his human creatures an instrument--their intellect--which must inevitably lead them, if they are dispassionate and honest, to deny his existence. It is tempting to conclude that if he exists, it is the atheists and agnostics that he loves best, among those with any pretensions to education. For they are the ones who have taken him most seriously."

He could forgive you, but only if you changed your ways and became a believer. He forgives our "past" and asks us to change our ways and live a life that is pleasing to Him. I may be wrong, but I think not believing in Him would be "unpleasing" to the Lord.
