Personally I have used this and I can guarantee that you will notice a diffenrence in two weeks and in a month you will have growth that you can really see. I do a lot of healthy things to my hair if it is healthy I have tried it or done it. I keep my hair jet black with the rinse and not a dye I clip my own ends once a year and I use a lot of protein treatments and a lot of deep conditioners and while I am on the computer I sit under my dryer because this could take hours going by without ever noticing. This is what I use I may use a prenatal vitamin if I notice some brakeage and or if I see that my hair is getting thin, I use Avacore for length and to keep it healthy. Then I use a iron pill because we need a good amount of blood circulation to the scalp. Then I use the Hair Genesis because I want again I want more length. When I get a wash and set I do this for one month I use Emergency and a protein treatment called Aphogee and then I let them use their stuff, then for the next month I get some cornrows and then keep alternating. Then every seven months I get a perm, How could I go so long without a perm? because I keep telling myself I wanna see the longness that I gave My hair plus the wash and sets keep it from getting too nappy. I hope that I was helpfull I really took my time and try to help.

Hi, Im a student in the field of cosmetology,
Nothing can really make your hair grow longer. Ive looked. But there are things you can do to help it.
One thing is that if you straighten or use irons on your hair, like myself, deep condition your hair ALOT! I do it two to three times a week! Even if you dont have a deep conditioner you can use regular conditioner on your hair for an hour or more, this also works nicely. My hair became really strong after this.
Vitamins help too! Take a multivitamin and a vitamin B-complex.
Do not color your hair alot! It weakens your hair causing it to snap off. If you do need to though, dont forget to condition, condition, condition!!! Dont forget bleaching! That is one of the worste things you could do!!
Cutting your hair doesnt make it grow faster!!! All that does is remove the split ends.
Massage your scalp regularly, this helps with growth!! It helps circulate blood flow in the scalp, with premotes hair growth.
Hope this information was helpful :)

A female friend of mine once had a head injury that required that they shave part of her hair off to do stitches on her scalp. In the hospital they gave her biotin to make her hair grow back faster. I actually think this works! I took biotin post-weight loss surgery to make sure I didn't lose hair due to the rapid weight loss. I came through the change without losing one hair on my head.
I think the biotin works and I also think the "hair, skin, and nails" vitamins that you can get in GNC do the same thing. They are a combination of biotin, vitamin A, and some other things.
Good luck!

I've tried the hair vitamins from Wal-Mart and they worked wonders! The product is called Hair Vitamins. I had extremely short hair (pixie cut) 2 yrs ago, and now my hair is down to my lower back. You have to also be sure to take good care of your hair though. Deep conditioners also seemed to keep my hair from breaking and keeping it soft. I suggest the Neutrogena Triple hair care mask. Be sure to keep in mind too that not all vitamins are created equal so make sure to read what is in the ingredients too. Good luck.

I started taking folic acid prescribed from my gyno....It works so good. I actually read in a medicine journal that eating a good amount of protein works wonders. I totally believe it because my hair is gorgeous now that I take the folic acid and eat a lot of protein. Just give it 2 months to work.

Blood circulation to the scalp is the only thing I know that works. Bend your head upside down while washing it.
