i tried downloading codecs and it still didn't work. What should i do ?

try to run it on real player..
and use this codecs pack

Im not sensible if WMP will settle for .avi. This report type is audio and video and WMP would not like those type of archives. I had a similar problem. It must be a Microsoft difficulty that's wierd because microsoft presented .avi in 1992.
