Wow, it's your day, go for it. Party hard since it's your first birthday party. Let your hair down as they say. You deserve it, hell you deserve a party anytime you want one. Raising children at times is no picnic and you deserve a break too. My wife says she wants a party and I make it happen. After 25 years of marriage the three children, she deserves whatever she wants. You go ahead and have your party and have fun. You'll see what you've been missing. :-)

it isn't egocentric. Turning 21 is a commonly used day for you and also you could make it exciting for your self. If others can not be with you- do the things you adore the most! in case you'll get a automobile an afternoon or 2 formerly, take your self paying for and dont open what you get till your BDAY! in view that your fiances mom is having a surgical operation that she needs and it isn't b/c she is ill you've the right to assume particular clinical care out of your better half and his and your household. i became extremely bummed when I became 21 b/c i became away and that i could not be round my loved ones that day. attempt to make it a calming "me" day. Plus your pregnant so that you usually have your infant to rejoice with. i'm sorry that you're feeling so undesirable yet bear in mind it isn't selfich in any respect!!!! So, have a contented twenty first and congrats on your infant on the way. You deserve the great clinical care!!!!!!!! If I knew you i'd ruin you with each little thing!!!!!

I have a birthday party ever year. People give me presents. I love that. If you a wife and a mom, don't you deserve a little bit of selfish time? Everyone does. Plan you own party if no one will do it for you.

There is nothing at all selfish about that! Throw yourself a huge party, or better yet, tell your family and friends and let them throw a huge party for you! Live it up and enjoy the day. I'm sorry that you have never had the enjoyment of your own party yet!

No, I don't think you are. This is what I think you need to do, sit down and really think about what it is that you want to do for your B-Day. Then, sit down with your husband and explain this idea you have. Next, have a family meeting and explain it to your children and make sure that they understand that maybe during the daytime hours is when you'll spend with them or vice versa. But whatever you choose to do just make sure you think it through and what you decide is something that will make this B-Day an everlasting memory. Good Luck and Happy Birthday.

No, I am totally in the same boat. I turn 30 in a little over 2 months and have been dropping serious hints to have my family throw me a birthday bash. I just hope they are getting those hints. Go for it, party it up, have a great time!

No, I think everybody deserves to have a whole day to themselves. Don't be ashamed tell your husband about it, there might be a surprise coming up.
