My Doctor has me on Klonopin. I used to take it regulalry, but now I only take it when I am really stressed or feel the anxiety episode coming on.
It just keeps me on an even keel. The stress and anxiety used to cause my temper to flare but I have no problem with it now either

Exercise, a brisk walk is best in starting as it regulates your breathing. Then be sure to reduce as much caffeine from your diet, coffee, cigarettes, etc to calm down the adrenaline surges. Take a hot bath/shower before bed, and try to get a good night's rest.
