I wouldnt do anything yourself. Now you need to go to a salon, tell them what your real color is, bring the box of the junk you used, and see if they can fix it. Might be a bit expensive ($80 ish) but its better than a color you hate!!!

If you go to a local beauty supply store you can find a color stripper. that will basically either bleach your hair white or leave it a bit brassy, but it will help take out the color. next step after using the color stripper , also buy a hot oil treatment to soften the damage that bleaching can do to your hair. after youre done doing that get a light to med brown hair dye. leave the dye in for 5-10min less than the box says. your newly bleached hair is more likely to absorb the new color so dont leave it in for too long or you could be back where you started. Or if your really bold you can shave your head.

Go to a salon and have a professional do it. Now you are going to have a hair color correction and it is going to cost you more than if you went in the first place, but we all had to learn the hard way and some still don't get it.

You have messed up the control factor now and a professional knows how to fix it. I would however make consultation appointments to see who you "feel" comfy with. Some charge for consults and some don't ...ask first.

1. Call the number on the side of the box. They might be able to help.

2. You may have to have your hair stripped to neutral (by a salon) and then recolored.

3. Lesson learned, don't touch that stuff in a box...it is dangerous if you don't know anything about color.

Don't try anything yourself! You NEED to go to A PROFESSIONAL salon otherwise another disaster will happen. If you want to find the easy way out cut it all off and wait for it to grow back. Guys have it easy that way.
