If you try too hard, it will make the situation more difficult. Some dogs are not as social as others, and prefer to be left alone. Let her come to you to be petted.

start out by feeding her all the time. then mabye throw a ball around for her to get. if she likes tug of war get a rope and play. a lot of dogs just like to run. just call its name and run away and it might chase you. treats is also a good idea. once she starts playing with you some make it your job to bathe her too. just make it so that she depends on you for everything she needs and do a good job at her needs. playing never hurts. hope this helps.

Be patient and encouraging, and try and use an up beat tone..... if she senses your excitement towards her, she will respond the same.... it will take time, especially if it has been quite some time since you have "bonded" with her.

Best of luck

the ONLY way is to earn his respect.
all dogs will love you...but it doest mean they will respect/listen to you.
be firm with him, show him you are the alpha/dominant one, but be loving.
sometimes it's just the dog breed or specific character.
other times it's how you treat them.

ps.: if YOU think she is annoying, maybe she can sense that.
you have to like her if you want her to like you.
you're being unfair. animals sense things.

My pup used to be like this too. (Got it a few months ago)

Well, basically, I fed him myself, and played with him all the time. Slowly he got used to me, and now, he sticks to me like glue..-.-"

So, I think maybe spending more time with your dog, and just well, wait for her to get used to having you around. Maybe it would help if you gave her treats?

maybe she senses that you think she is annoying and doesn't want you to pet her.

Maybe she has more sense than you do.
