It is supposed to wear off after 3 months, but the first time I was on it I had it twice (6 months) and it took a year for my periods to return and another year to get pregnant again. March, 2005 I went on it for one round and when it wore off in June my period started later that month, but it knocked my hormones so out of whack that I bled for 20 days straight and I had to go on the pill for 3 months to get back to normal. I did, however get pregnant 2 weeks after stopping the pill (Low-dose, Yasmin)

I was taking the injections for 3 years then I missed an appointment. About 21/2 months later my husband and I found out that we were pregnant. We had concieved almost a month after I was due for and injection. It just depends on how your body reacts to the medication.

When I was on it, I was told to stop it at least 6 months before I intended on getting pregnant. Good luck!

remember that all meds carry side-effects be sure that this will not affect your child/wanted prg, in the future.
