What about some hindu gods?
Is it blaphemy if i make fun of ANY god i don't believe in?
Can a realist (meaning non-believer in mythical creatures) even commit blasphemy?

FaithWorkz: Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it it still exists. Like money, genes, science and the physical world. Your reality cannot be that different if you need money and food to survive.

It is blasphemy to the person who worships Zeus as their God,
what is a realist? What is reality to you is incomplete reality to someone else. If something is real then it really is blasphemy, it's not just blasphemy to the individul offended but is blasphemy to the existing Deity.

The answer simply is NO. To blaspheme you have to be a believer or follower of whatever diety(ies) you are cursing. As such, you cannot blaspheme what you don't believe in.
Having said that, to disrespect another persons God or Gods is simply poor taste and shows a lack of class, hopefully you do not do such things, afterall respect should always be forefront in peoples minds, even if they disagree.

See my picture? Thats my demon-god Pazuzu god of the southeastern wind, of pestilences and protector of pregnant women(not kidding). He's also the main demonic thing in the movie the exorcist. But some people never heard of him. Make fun all you want shouldnt be a problem. Actually all gods love attention no matter what it is..recognition is what they ALL crave. Think about it.

Regardless whether YOU believe in them or not, they are still "gods" and "dieties" to those who do believe in them and worship them. It also depends on who's standing around you when you say "oh, that god's a fake! He ain't real!" Just look at what that comic depicting Middle Eastern dieties did in the Middle East! They went CRAZY.

How dare you doubt the existence of Zeus, by Hera. May you be struck by his lightning bolt and packed off to Hades.

Make fun of who ever you like, whats the worst thing that could happen anyway. I have no religious beliefs whatsover and I'm all for ridiculing any form of crack pot mumbo jumbo masquerading as religion.

nobody knows if god exisists period doesnt matter what shape or form you consider him or it as. blasphamy is about anything bad said against anything sacred or consider a higher purpose then any living thing. so it would still be classed as blasphamy even if you dont believe in that perticular god

You ought to ask followers of Zeus. Certainly, if you make fun of Islam the consequences could be very serious (fatwah, death, burning of books etc.)

It might not be blasphemous to you but it would be to someone that believed in Zeus, which would be rude. Is being rude ok if your a realist?
