Is there anything wrong with this picture?

Seems like there's a big gap between loving thy enemy, and killing thy enemy.

Is there anyone out there in Yahoo! answers land that is pro military and pro Christian teachings, that can help me understand this? Thanks

If the muslim really practice what their Islamic religion taught them, I will definitely support the muslim. But sadly they didnt. What does Islam taught them? Show patience, love, unselfishness and respect to others, but what did they do? They went and killed the innocent people by being suicide bombers. Now who is their enemy? They have already mixed up. If they really want to kill, go for the soldiers, and not innocent woman and children. You said Israelis soldiers killed woman and children of Palestine, but did this ever comes to your brains that the muslim suicide bombers also killed woman and children of Israelis and Americans and many others? If this never comes to your head, that means the muslim are selfish and never respect the lives of others. When I see the twin towers, I am so sad and disappointed. The Arabs muslim knew that their military powers are not strong as the Americans soldiers; they turned against the innocent people that have no weapons in their hands. The muslim in Middle East were fed with media showing one side of the story, only the muslim people-woman and children suffered, but did the Arabs media shows about the suffering of Israelis people-woman and children? Never! They showed Arabs muslim one side of the story and BANG! They all became suicide bombers. I am wondering, did the suicide bombers ever think for a second b4 they became a suicide bombers?

Do you think that when they went to heaven, there will be 7 virgins waiting for them in heaven after killing so many innocent woman and children of the Israelis and Americans?
I bet OUR ALLAH will send all the suicide bombers to HELL.
Now I want to say is, if the muslim really practice what their Islamic religion taught them, I will support them. Be like Gandhi, practice non-violence, u see what happen to India? Because of Gandhi non-violence, Gandhi got the support from all over the world and India finally got their Independence.

If the Arabs muslim the Palestine wants their lands back, then practice non-violence, I tell you, the whole world will support them and I too will support them. But if they carried on to becomes suicide bombers, nobody in this world will believe them or wants to help them.
Now let me asked you again, if I turned the whole table around, the Christians now are suicide bombers, and they went to killed other innocents muslims in their countries, how would you feel?

I am a muslim.There is unbelievable misunderstanding as a result of a misleading media and some politicians.As i noticed from many answers that many people almost know nothing about Islam and know nothing about the roots of the current situation.Many people attack Islam instead of understanding why some Muslims followed violent means?Why?Do they engoy killing and killng themselves?What made a young youth becomes a suicide?What their cause?If anyone tries to understand free of influence of a misleading media and misleading politicians,he would reach the right fact.
We muslims do not have any problems with christian people.Our religion urges us to give full respect to christianity.We give the same respect to Jesus prophet( peace be upon him) as we give to prophet Mohamed(peace be upon him).It is one of Islam principles to believe that Jesus is a prophet as prophet Mohamed (peace be upon them)otherwise you can not a muslim.Their source is one-God\Allah.Islam is the last religion and Mohamed(peace be upon him)is the last messenger.Islam is the last religion humanity should follow.There are alot of similarities between Quran and Bible.
We Muslims have problem with some Christian states foreign policy.Let's have US as an example.
You know Israel has been occupying Arab lands for decades and refuse to withdraw despite the UN resolutions calling for Israeli withdraw.One of those lands is the Palestinian land.It is a right for any nation to fight to liberate its land.What would Americans do,if a part of their land were occupied?Israel has been killing the unarmed Palestinians-children,women and elderly people- for decades.US has been backing Israel by military equipment and protecting it by US veto from any international condemnation.
The unarmed Palestinians despaired.they had no weapon to retaliate to the daily Israeli killing just use`suicide actions as a means to stop the israeli killing of Palstinians innocent.
The injustice and unfair US policy made a lot of people hate it.
US invaded Iraq and destroyed it completely and led it to civil war which is going on nowadays.The pretext was that Iraq had Weapon of Mass Destruction which proved false-no such weapon found.Thousands of Iraqi innocent were killed during US invasion of Iraq.This is another example of US injustice.
What do you think Why US was attacked not France or Norway not another country?The answer is simple.US injustice polcy in our region.
Injustice produces hatred and violence- this the fact which should be realised by the American people.
We have no problem with American people.The majority of American people are friendly.American stars are popular in Muslim World.

It has to do with separating the spiritual individual from the government. As individuals we are to follow the teachings given to us in the Bible. As a nation we are to protect our people from being enslaved or killed by an enemy. It is necessary to preserve our nation so that our individual freedom to worship is not lost. If we gave into our enemies, who most of the time are out to destroy religious freedom, we would not be able to escape this slavery.. Communism and Islamic Fundamentalism both would destroy our ability to worship freely. We have to fight those powers in order to reach the ultimate Christian goal of spiritual maturity through learning the Word of God. We are given a choice as Christians, be influenced by the Bible or be influenced by evil. In order to protect ourselves from evil we must fight in wars against those who would impose evil and take away the Bible.

Just a thought if we only wanted to kill we would not have risked a single American and just dropped a nuke on all of the terrorist strongholds. Because we are trying to protect ourselves and our allies, with a minimum loss of life on either side, and we are facing an enemy that wants to die and doesnt care how many die with him, it's been a very bloody mess.

Get used to it. The God of American has nothing to do with Christianity and everything to do with global economic and military dominance. Simple.

The constitution prevents govt from "respecting the establishment of religion". It says nothing about paying lip service to religion.

So, while the govt cannot actually follow any religious doctrines, it can go through the motions without actually respecting the beliefs.
