Well if we keep abusing the world the way we are it may end, or at least version we all know will end. The fresh water will become impure and undrinkable and all plant life will cease to grow. With the lack of plants the herbivores will die, and since all of the carnivores rely on herbivores as food, they will die from starvation as well. Once they are all dead cannibalism will be our only source of food, but that wont last long because we will all be dying of malnutrition. After we are all gone the Earth Mother will start over and history will probably repeat itself, just like it always has. Not to mention our sun will blow up and turn into a black hole. So yea, life will probably end on our planet, but Il lbe dead by then so Im not worried about it.

Of course the world will end eventually. There are many ways the world could end even without any human help. A metor the size of Australia could collide with the Earth and blow it to a million pieces. The sun could explode turning the Earth into a ice cube.
Personally, I don't think it matters when the world will end as one way or another the human race will be extinct before that happens.

Sure. Doesn't anyone else see this collision course? A friend of mine did a solo trek to the North Pole two years ago -- there were 70 miles of melted ice 2 months early in the season...global warming is just a small factor to Earth's problems, sorry to say.

The world never ends. It just changes. For some people, change is as incomprehensible as a world that ends. To them, change means doom, the doom of all that once was. But, the world spins and tumbles and boils and blows on rather blithely and quite naturally in constant evolution and ever increasing complexity.

the world may or may not end. but if it does it won't be in our lifetime. It will be either because the son gets too big and engulfs the earth or from our sister galaxy that is on a course straight for ours. thats right our galaxy is about to be in a hit and run.. but it will take more than 10,000 years for it to hit us. by the way. there is no god. so don't believe anyone who uses religion in their answer on here.

nothing in this world will last forever. everything will eventually die in due time. that is why we are constantly finding ways & means to preserve & replenish our natural resources for the next generation. we are desperately saving our mother earth.
too bad our world leaders are trying to annihilate oneanother. so i guess we will all perish by our own hands and not by any cataclystic way.

(b)comet will desteoy humans.
2.third world war will take place between 2000-2020 which would kill 1/3 of the world's population.

It can't end because the world is part of a bigger world that's undefineable. Similar to how a human doesn't die just because their fingernail falls off onto the ground.
