Even though you are happily married or in a loving relationship. Not that you want them for a relationship or anything like that. But you just wonder how he/she is doing.

If you were in a committed relationship for a long time, and you expereinced a great deal of life together, it is common to think of that person every once in a while. Especially if the break up is still relatively fresh. Over time though, if one has truely moved on, they will think less and less of them. For me, I used to think of my ex every now and then, with a lot of mixed emotions. Now I can't remember what she sounded like or what she looked like. She has become just another person who had come into and went out of my life.

Actually..one of my ex's and I broke up just because of work schedules making it not possible to ever see each other, even though we found other people we talked on the phone all the time....long story short he got a different shift at his job so that we could be together and now we've been w/one another for 1yr

Funny thing would be to slightly twist this question-do your ex(s) ever think of you? I get calls from ex-girlfriends all the time (claiming they just want to see how I'm doing, of course). Their insecurities are a prime reason I left them. If it doesn't work I just move on pointing no finger of blame, and no-I rarely think of them.
I usually tell them I'm seeing someone else now, they had their chance and blew it, and to stop calling. I've got active restraining orders on three women, and I'm not Superman. I've taken psych and soc classes and can't for the life of me figure women out.

Of course, usually ex boyfriends or girlfriends menat soemthing really special to a person and no matter how much they could have hurt you, you will always care alot about them and want the best for them.

Nope. I ask polite questions of my daughter when she mentions her father, but could frankly care less.
Of course, I operate under the "when it's done...it's done" theory.

yes i do in fact im still in love with my ex but we just friends we talk everyday and sh!t so u know that i still think about him and he thinkz about me lol good luck we call each other to talk and see how each other is doing but your man may not like it good luck

I do but ... Its sucks cause you know it'll never work..so you always hope for the best for the other person. that they'll find someone that works better for them..
