If what you mention about yourself is true and if there is god, s/he would rather have you in heaven rather than those hyposrites who believe in god and dont see the whole point why god made us (if s/he did). I think a person like what you say you are, would be the ideal candidates to go to heaven for a rationally thinking god. So, dont listen to sceptics and keep up the good work... that is the whole point. You, I bet are doing better than many god believers atleast I know of.
So, ya the point is ... hell is not for people like you ;), you dont deserve it :P.

There are many that don't believe in God or, at least, the same God. If there does happen to be a God, and you believe that there will come a judgement day, there's going to have to be a lot of explaining done.
If there is a judgement day, I would say you have something in your favour. You simply point out that you have been kind, caring and gentle during this lifetime. It must stand you in good stead.
If there doesn't come a judgement day, you'll have nothing to worry about.
Personally, I see Hell as a Christian concept. I'm not Christian so I don't fear that I'll end up there.

Continue to be good ,gentle and caring!God is all about this and more! You wont go to hell for not believing in existence of God.God is the X-factor whom you pray for forgiveness for all the wrong actions, thoughts and words that you did intentionally or unintentionally as you cant go to each and every person individually and ask for forgiveness!God is Love,Compassion,Kindness ,Beauty,Joy etc.If you dont believe in this then you definitely cant be loving caring person that you are. So whether you like it or not you already believe in God!

Well, I guess the answer to that depends on what god happens to be real when you die. But if you mean the Christian God, as the question seems to imply, then yes, you would. I know it sounds harsh, but think about it this way. Every person sins (sin is ANYTHING we do, say, or think that goes against God, including the little things like lying, hating someone, thinking "bad" thoughts, etc... not just the big things like murder and adultery). When we sin, we can not be with a perfect God. No one can do enough good to get to Heaven. But because Jesus died, it covers our sins if we accept him as our savior (so I suppose believing in God would be a good first step on that one). Without Jesus, we can't get to Heaven. So even believing in God isn't enough (even the Devil believes in God). Basically, even one sin is enough to separate you from God, and no amount of good things will ever cover over that (which is why Jesus could die for us, he was perfect. Other than the fact he was God). But there is no way I can even begin to say all the important things on this topic in this answer, and especially not before I have to get to my next class, so yeah. But a really good author who talkes about a lot of this and many other things concerning God is C.S. Lewis (wrote the chronicals of Narnia, and many other books). If you really want to know the answers, and aren't just trying to start argument (sorry, but it's possible), check him out. Hope that answers the question a little bit.

Why don't you believe in God, is that the way you were raised? I'm not putting you down at all, so please don't think that. I am baptist and I respect all religions and do not bash those who don't believe but I think since you asked this question you must have some faith in your heart. I am with the person who said doing good deeds won't send you to heaven but at the same time I think you should visit a church of your choice and see what God has to offer, what do you have to loose.

Do you believe in hell?
What makes you think you would go to hell if you don't believe in God?
Even if one doesn't believe in a supreme creator, the life you lead (and you say you are a good person) denotes the fact that you'll probably ascend to a more positive place when you die.
Personally, I don't believe in hell, or salvation through Jesus (I'm Jewish)...to me, hell is what we create here on earth when we hurt or kill other people.

There is no heaven and hell as such.
You have an energy (your sole)
When you die either your body could not support it, the energy burns out or continues.
Nobody living will find out what happens to it.
The memory of the energy is lost but will continue.
where the energy goes is back to where it came from.
If god exist you will go back to him.
If the devil exist you will go back to him.
Nobody will get the True fact answer.
who ever you believe you will go to.
It does not matter what you believe, your energy will carry on.
Will your energy support life for a Plant animal or be reborn.
Or will your energy be Trapped (ghost)
Or does it really burn out completely

God loves His creation . God loves you. God will never give up on you . In striving to do what you think is the right way to live your life you are knowingly or unknowingly responding to God calling you . Life is not some kind of devious game show designed to trip up the unwary. In celebrating life in everyday events and the mundane you are living out your destiny . Don't worry , if God loves you enough to bring you forth from dust, he will do all in his power ( and He's got plenty !) to bring you home at the end of your time on Earth. It's between you and God and no one else . Even if you don't believe in Him He believes in you . Some times religious people think they have it nailed . They dont . The hound of Heaven is on your case.

Will you go to Heaven? Not where you stand now. God calls people into His kingdom. Unlike what most people think, God chooses you, not the other way around. Ephesians Chapter 1:4 says "Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.". What does that mean? It means that all Christians were chosen by God. It may sound arrogant, but who are we to judge God? We're mere humans. You may not believe in God now, or in Heaven, but if it's Christ's will, He'll make it happen...

How good is good enough? If someone does more good than you, do they get to heaven and you don't?
It's not about what you do that decides. The Bible is pretty clear. Make Jesus your number 1 and you go to heaven when you die. Why? You don't get a Superbowl ring for watching the final game, in person or on TV. You have to be on the team and play in the game. Same principle.
