I can't judge anyone, but based on what God's Word says, then I'd be inclined to say yes, you can. You hav to repent, be baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost and live a sanctified life from that point on.

Christians don't go to confession. We don't confess our sins to a priest, we confess them to God. If in fact we do murder someone, and ask for forgivenes...God truely know's our heart, and if He sees that we really mean it, then yes, he will forgive us.

Gosh, what a burden you are under if you think you need to do X, Y, Z. God's love is freely given, unconditional. It does not require you to do a single thing, but I guess you are having a hard time believing that huh.

By 'go to confession' is assume you to mean the Roman Catholic idea of confession to a priest/man. That will do you absolutely NO good, at all. He cannot "absolve" you of the least sin, let alone murder!

Here is TRUE confession:

Luke 12:8 (KJV)
Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

John 3:3 (KJV)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN AGAIN, [my emphasis] he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Forgiveness is a wonderful thing and readily available to the devout believer. But, consequences to your actions are not erased by asking to be forgiven.

What makes you think that a priest
could forgive your sins? don´t be a fool
the sins are between God and man, no man
can forgive your sins, try to read the Bible
and try to understand it, don´t read it like every one does

No man on this earth can forgive you of your sins. That is a lie brought about by the roman catholic church to make money.
