Wow, that is pretty bad.

Kind of like this one: I said that "all gods are the same gods with different names" and then someone said "The bible says that God is the one and true god, and no other gods go before him"

and I thought, yes, because if all gods are the same gods then your god is the one true god, and so is mine.

And she said, bt your god didnt create anything.

You mean, that you would expect God to actually catch you? First of all, it sounds eerily like what happened on 911. God did not "catch" those bodies, but hopefully, He did catch their souls. It would be the same thing if it were an earth destroying event. That would actually quicken the day of judgement, and all of us will find out then just what type of God we served while we were on this earth. And don't worry, death will come instantaneously if what you described actually happened. No time for suffering.

RE: weemary: What I am saying is in response to we're hurdling through space at an alarming rate,as in we are blowing up, or somehow the world is blowing up. If we are going to die, then Jesus, who was the word of God, and therefore IS God, had better be there, or we are all going up, poof. I took it to mean that the God we worship, and some worship small g gods too, but I'm speaking of Jesus, because he was speaking of Jesus, had better be there for us, or we are doomed.
If you don't understand this, it is because the question itself is not exactly clear, or you do not believe that Jesus is God.

There is no limit to the absurdities of believers. Just a manifestation of their fundamental disconnect with reality.
