One-sided power doesn't accomplish anything and certainly doesn't make for a healthy relationship. Give and take on both sides builts the compromise for success plus the expression of real opinions.

My wife 'Rules,' -- because she is so afraid to not rule.
On the other hand, my girlfriend 'Loves' to be dominated and be used.
Personally, when I first knew my wife, I Loved that we could interchange, that we could each take the lead in decisions for us, as a couple. I prefer the 50/50 approach, where each has their strengths in certain areas and they are used for both parties..

depending on the situation, sometimes i will compromise (witch means he gives in to me) or i will demand NO I'M KIDDING a relationship won't work if some one always demands and gets their way the giver will eventually get frustrated and live, so to me the best kind of relationship is a give and take one.
