When ghosts or entities are visualized they are generally clothed. I understand why the human spirit can be visualized, but clothes do not have spirits so why is it that they can be seen?

I beleive ghosts and spirits are two different things also. A ghost is probably left over energy.
A spirit will show itself to you in what way it thinks best. If your grandma died at age 99 she may show herself to you as she was when she was 60 most likely in whatever outfit you'd remember best. Do you think grandma would want you to see her in a polka dot bikini, or her favorite blouse, maybe that purple moo moo you could never forget?

Well, the spirit of what we call ghost have been around for quite a whail but these are what are call demonic spirits and those who practice witch craft are deceived into believing that ghost's do exhist.
Now I hate to ramble on about the bible but it is the best source when it comes to things of this nature. These spirits are known as the gods of this present world and are pretty deceptive. If you remember when lucifer was put out of heaven, if you believe in such, a third of his angels were put out with him. So there is a lot of deceiving when it comes to a relative comes back from the dead to haunt someone. The bible says that when someone dies that spirit goes back to the creator which is God. they are not left to linger or haunt. As far as a piece of cloth is concern, no it have no spirit whatsoever.
It all comes down to plain old deception.

There is a spirit in clothes- the way you dress bring a certain spirit on you or on someone else- when some go out and half dress there's a spirit of whoredom on them, they may not be whores, but because they fit the profile that what the may be considered, a spirit isn't always someone visual a person, a spirit is a spirit you don't always see spirits,a spirit can make you do anything!! and you won't even see it

Well, I mean - we can't have the ghosts streaking around, can we? Perhaps the ghosts are afterimages that were etched into a place by a traumatic experience.
Think of a tape cassette. If you record something on the cassette that is fairly loud, and then erase the tape, sometimes the old recording can come through in places. That's what ghosts may be.
Our entire reality maybe nothing more than God's previously used videocassette that he keeps recording over. (Or, if not God's - somebody's.)

Wow, what an interesting question! Actually, our bodies are not spirit either, so why would even the body be visible? Does the spirit just happen to "look like" the body? That's a really good question.
If there are really ghosts, and I think there may be, I think that they are people who do not know where to go in the afterlife. I think they may be attached to something here in life and not be willing to move on or to reincarnate. Perhaps they were attached to their clothes. hahaha.

Well, actually I was watching tv with my dad and he was watchin somthin about that. It said that ghosts are visualized with clothes for 2 reasons, number 1- when a person pictures a human or something like a human they usually picture clothes on them. and secondly, if its a ghost that has actually been seen, they have the clothes on that the person was wearing when they died.

firstly ghosts and spirit are quite different
the ones people report seeing wandering about are ghosts ... they are simply the memory left over of what once has been ... like a recording... they aren't conscious and cannot communicate and will simply play over and over in their actions ... and like any recordings one day will just play out
now spirit don't hang around wandering aimlessly as many believe they do .. they are in spirit realm and although may visit with us , are rarely seen in a manifestation way
but i am told yes they do wear clothing , although for a time it would be the clothing they are accustomed to here , they may after a period of time take to another type of clothing more suitable for the realm they are on
p.s the spirit world is as physical there as this world is to us here

If ghosts are real then they'll take the form which they think of themselves in: Most people think of themselves as clothed.
I mean, do your organs have spirits? Does your skin? Of course not, but ghosts are expected to have skin, so why not clothing.

Because the phenomenon of ghosts is a mind trick - they dont really exist. And since the mind creates the image, it clothes the image, as this is what your mind is used to viewing.....after all, could you imagine running into the ghost of your father naked?? You'd run screaming, "DAMN! I DID NOT need to see that!"
