In the movie " Lord of War " , We know that fish is not allowed in the Jewish religion .

So what's the explaination for what the movie says ?

They eat most fish. They are restricted from eating scavenger fish (like catfish) and shell "fish" (like oysters, lobsters, etc.). But most fish is allowed.

Roll Mops, Smoked Herring, Pickled Herring. All fish are allowed under Kosher dietary laws, if they have either skin or scales. Crustaceans (Crabs, Lobsters and Shrimp) are not. It is in the Bible. Every heard of it? I used to say there is no such thing as a stupid question. But since watching this site I changed my mind.

that's not so, do you not remember a certain Jewish carpenter who fixed breakfast for some of His followers after His resurrection? And do you not remember what the livlihood of John and James and Peter and Andrew were?

We can eat certain types of fish. Jews who keep Kosher that is. Fish which have fins and scales are kosher. Fish which only have fins are not kosher.

Yes, they eat fish, just not bottom feeders like halibut.

Ever had locks and bagels, that's a traditional jewish meal with salmon (and ooh it's soo tastey).

We do eat some fish. Just no shellfish, or certain other kinds of fish.

Yes, Jews who keep Kosher can eat fish, but not shellfish. So, no crab, clam, oyster, etc...
