any advice would be greatly appreciated. How long does it take for two bottom teeth? Can they fix really bad whole in the middle of a wisdom tooth. Its it easier with the teeth under the skin or over? Is it harder when one is a bit broken but has a whole in the middle?

1. IF..... your wisdom tooth is below the skin they will have to knock you out and surgically remove it.
Two bottom teeth will take longer than 2hrs (including recovery time)

2. IF....it is above the surface, they will give you a needle, which will numb your entire jaw and YOU WONT FEEL A THING!!
Two bottom teeth will take a maximum of 1hr

THE COST
1. Getting surgery, you will have to pay for a surgical procedure, up to $2000
2. Getting it pulled will cost a fraction of the price $100ish

My tooth was above the skin, the nerve exposed and had a HUGE hole in the middle of it and they had no trouble at all.

TOTALLY PAINLESS!!!

Don't panic, It's best to get it done now though!!!
The longer you wait the more your teeth will decay.
You will be amazed at the size of the tooth that sits below your jaw!!!

First of all, relax, you have nothing to worry about. You won`t feel anything during the surgery so you don't have to worry about it! If you don`t want to see anything just close your eyes or move your attention somewhere else (as your friend to bring a portable DVD/PSP/etc. or watch something on your phone). You can eat of course, but you will get a list of things you shouldn't eat for a while from the dentist. Probably the dentist will also give you some painkillers for the discomfort and some antibiotics to reduce the risk of getting infected while healing. I've got my wisdom teeth removed a couple of months ago without any complications or serious pain. I wasn't knocked out either (it is better this way) and I felt just fine!

Usually they knock you out for that kinda stuff. I don't think it matters if it's above or below the skin. It's just tougher if it's in the bone or coming up under another tooth. They may cut the tooth in half and take it out in sections if it's a more complicated case. The doctor will tell you the risks etc. You'll be sore for several days but you'll have lotsa medicine and probably just sleep it off. It's a common procedure now a days. You may look like a chipmunk for a bit though.

My friend had hers taken out by a dentist and didn't get knocked out. She wanted to save money. He pulled them out...I don't recommend that. She looked so miserable.

Well, I hope all goes well for you. Check out your dentist and make sure you get a good one. And remember, you don't feel a thing during the surgery cause your in la la land thanks to the wonders of drugs. :)

Don't worry, the dentist will give you anesthetic, maybe local (you'll be awake) or maybe general (where he puts you to sleep). Either way, you won't feel any pain.
He can also prescribe painkillers and anti-swelling medication for the days after the surgery. It will be OK!!! Good luck and don't worry.

You will be fine. If you go under, there is usually more pain after. They have a limited time to get them out and usually will be more agressive. If they freeze the area and you are awake, they will remove them more gently, and they have more time until freezing wears off. Personally, I wouldn't want to know what they are doing. I'd rather be out.

oh man, i will never forget the day i had my teeth pulled. i had all four done at once. afterwards it hurt like a mother. they gave me vicodin, and i threw up all day long, that hurts soo bad because of the pressure of throwing up made my mouth bleed. if you havent taken vicodin before i would ask for something not so strong. OK

Difficult to say, different for everybody. Mine popped out quite easily, Mrs Gungir looked for days like her face has saddlebags.
