In fact, why would any kind, caring and loving deity allow any of the people they 'created' to die prematurely? If this supposedly almighty 'omnipotent' force is punishing the many for the sins of the few, why not just kill the sinners...?
And if people do still die why do christians still choose to follow this 'god'? Are they scared it could be them next?

And please dont start quoting the bible, try and use actual tangible facts for a change.....

Everyone want to blame god when something bad happens, when in fact who is the cause of so much suffering...Man. I have heard it said that god can whisper in ones ear to do good and help others but if one chooses to listen or not is up to the person. Freewill. Pain and suffering of the young, old, poor and weak has always been here and mostly brought on by man kind. Poverty is the biggest reason for suffering and the wealth is held by 1% of the population and believe me they are not going to share. Just think what good they could do toward helping. Another thing, sometimes I feel like I am in "The Truman Show" with higher powers watching to see how much I can take or wait maybe an ant with a magnifying glass being held to it.
People choose to follow god because of the fear of death, its just to frightening to think there is nothing after life. Me I don't judge anyone. We all have the right to believe what we choose.

On a practical note only - If 'God' or whatever did not let people/animals etc die then the world would be overrun and there would be no space. So as people are born, people must die. If there was to be a formula as to when you were to die (in the name of fairness say) what age would it be. Do you decide that at 50/60/70/80 that is the day of death. It is not feasable so the age at which anybody can die is indeterminate. My mum was 59 and perfectly healthy - 15 minute before she had a heart attack - does a baby/child have more right to live than my mum when you work out that the average life expectancy is 80-90 these days. I don't know if its 'God' the Devil, a force or what, I know that death hurts the people left behind, but surely it is the pain that we feel over the death of a loved one that proves we love them. Does that make sense??

I have never read the bible, and don't believe in GOD as such, but believe in some kind of Spirit world?
Its a unknown but there is something what we will never know.
Everything living has an energy we do not control.
Nobody knows where it comes from, or where it goes when something dies!
I think babies die because the energy fails and cannot generate, or be given.
Even if the energy is given. if the body cant support and generate it will die
Its an unknown, some babies are expected to die, but somehow makes it.
Even really bad people gets energy.
Is there really a GOD and the Devil, nobody will ever find out.

A kind, caring and loving God allows the people he created to die so that they won't have to live under sin's curse for an eternity. He doesn't just kill the sinners, because everyone is a sinner, so He offers them a chance to make a choice for Him or against Him. He blesses the righteous and the unrighteous alike with, children, rain for our lawns and crops, jobs, a place to call home. Only the ones who return His love with belief, faith, obedience are the ones he takes with Him to eternity. That is why Christians still choose to follow this God.

That depends on whether dying is actually bad. We think it is the worst thing that could happen on this earth because we don't know any different and we can only relate it to the sadness of losing someone we love. How do we know though that God isn't relieving that person from a future of sufferance and taking them to a place and state that is better than anything the human mind could imagine? Maybe that's why those who are going through the most torment often end up dying, because in the end they are spared and given a better existence? That's why we should have faith and not limit our beliefs to the boundaries of our ignorant human knowledge.

I will not quote bible verses or try to preach to you, but I need to say something. God has a purpose for everrything. It is difficult to understand, and hrader still to accept, but it is true. Perhaps these kinds of things happen because of sin, perhaps because of something else, we may never know, but there is always a reason and a plan for it. God may allow bad things to happen to teach us things, or to bring us closer to Him, but bad things that happen are never His plan and do not come from Him-He doesn't kill people and He is not trying to punish us. He loves us and wants us to learn to trust Him in everything that happens-good or bad. Besides, without death there can be no life, and if all people on this earth that were created were to remain on earth, there would be no room left. It is a natural part of life, this death, althiough yes it is hard to understand. I am sure I will never fully understand it myself. Every person God created was made for a reason, a purpose, and perhaps if children die it is because their purpose has already been served and now God wants to take them home to heaven to be with Him. It hurts those left behind, I know, but when we get to heaven we will see those loved ones again and be with them forever. This will be much better than being on this earth anyways, wouldn't you agree? I wonder if you have lost someone by the way you ask that question. I urge you to pray and to trust that God knows what He is doing, and that one day we will have an answer for all these questions. Do not let your heart be hardened, the bible says, we need to trust in Him. May your eyes be opened and see what God has planned for you and that no matter what He will never leave you.

This is a good question with no answer...Noone really knows if god exists but also the argument for the way we live doesn't hold up either because people have been dying of diseases since humans were put on this earth...I just hope we carry on finding cures so less children have to die xx

I completely agree with you..... My dad passed away last year aged 52 after suffering four years of cancer, he worked hard all his life and until three months before he died, was quiet shy caring and considerate not like some of the ungrateful nomads that walk this planet.... It made me feel very bitter at first I have never been a great believer in the almighty one now I am even more convinced that god does not exist......one of my freinds believes that mass tradgedy like sept 11th is gods way of making room for new life but why choose innocent victims why not blow up a prison eh.... anyway bet I've boared you silly now thats my deep thought for the day

Other gods let people die as well, not just christian's... People need something to believe in, let it god or something else... By believing in god you can rely on your faith that god saves you after you're dead...But if you don't believe in god, the death really is the end...And I'm not sure if the death really is the worst thing, the people should be saved from...

For the last: You asked facts to get this explained, I think it's impossible everytime, when the question is related to the god...

The only actual tangible facts do come from the bible. The omnipotent force referred to here is God, and his name is Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). He did not create the human race simply for nothing, but lovingly created them with freedom of choice. As another loving provision he gave them guidelines as to the correct way to live. He created them to live forever with perfect bodies and minds but Satan who had been an angel in heaven before rebelling against God and thrown out of heaven to the earth tempted Eve telling her she would not die if she ate of the tree in the middle of the Garden. She being deceived ate, and so did Adam; the wages of sin is death and therefore we all have inherited sin and die. He made an oportunity for man to have a way out by sending his son as a ransom for those sins, a perfect man as a balance to live without sin proving satan a liar. As time progressed physical defects became more and more and life spans became shorter. Some even are born with physical defects or unexpected accidents happen due to human imperfection. He is not punishing all for the sins of a few, we choose who we serve. God is the only one other than his son Jesus who is perfect and is capable of making righteous decisions and ruling over the earth. Imperfect humans, governments, and so on have tried to correct matters on their own and have been unsuccessful. When all wickedness is done away with, satan is destroyed and the earth is returned to a perfect paradise state like Adam and Eve had; then we can enjoy perfect life in good health under his rule. There will be no more death, babies or otherwise, and all sinners will be gone. The bible tells us the meek will inherit the earth and the wicked will be torn away from it. Then the earth will be ruled over by God's righteous government in much the same way as it is ruled over by our human government is today. We can all look forward to this promise and if we are actively seeking righteousness can have the same faith Noah had when he built the arc that his God would save him and his promises would come true. Acts prove faith, it cannot be inactive or a feeling in your heart. The relationship must be real and your faith can be built by studying the bible making God's purpose's real and giving understanding as to how and why he dealt with people in the past and what he has in store for the future. Why people follow him is because God is love, and you see that in the bible. Yes, it could be them next, none of us is guaranteed tomorrow and what we do with our lives today is important. Whose side are you on? This issue of sovereignty will be settled and we all must choose.
