I would contribute towards the charity organisation only when i know someone very well who is a firm believer of the ones who need support
Unfortunately its not always that charity is used for good cause and skilled people are working towards it in INDIA
I would support charity in my own small way by..
1) Helping farmers since agriculture and advising them of irrigation facility and ways to get finance for better crop along with better selling techniques
2) support education in rural areas and travel with the charity organisation personally
3) Consultation for those who need it the most (like unemployed and prostitutes), to name few
there are certainly many ways of helping, it just requires a start

You cannot grade the Charity trust in any way. One may be big and famous and the other may be small. But all the charity is for the goodself of the people, children etc. So any charity which is good can be supported by any one.

1. clothing,food & education for children.
2. care, nursing & support for disabled & aged.
3. saving the girl child.
4. birds & animals in distress
My heart cries when i see a child, an elderly or an animal in pain. I would try to do my best for all the above.

Homes for Humanity. because i would love to give/build a home for someone who has their life in order and rasing children and working their butts off but just cant afford much. i was a single mom once and i know how that feels. im not going through it anymore and i would love to help other people who are having a hard time. my family also goes through closets, toy boxes, etc once a month and we take it to the local homeless donation. i wish i had more to give!

We donate monthly to our little Molly in Uganda through Compassion International. It only takes $32 a month to totally change a child's life. You'd be shocked to see what some of these babies have endured.
Check it out...www.compassion.com
Our children are the future, so let's take care of them today.

I am supporting CRY, which helps children with the basic education and food.
The reason would be that they do not seem to have any affiliation's to any religious groups.

Any Catholic charity (Caritas, CAFOD, Fadica and the like). I think their long history speaks for itself. World Vision is trustworthy, too...
