I agree with you. I pray for those who have criticized you just now. People are still immature to the fact that people have a opinions and views differently than others do but yet show themselves to be ignorant and disrespectful otherwise. It shows that not only unbelievers are going to Hell but people who called themselves Christians are going also.

I feel what you're saying hun! When I see what some of these people write about God I pray for them , that's what I do, as you said God doesn't need defending, but who's going to defend those who don't believe when He returns? All I tell them is seek God and He will guide you.

What about the sins of self engrandisement, vanity and being a bragart? Pray for yourself!!!!
Non believers are far more tollerant of others, far more moral and way better people than bible pushers.
Try looking at Islam. Muslims are totally dedicated to God and live their whole life doing so not just Sundays and high days. They do not brag and try to make themselves look good in their fellow believers eyes, they just get on with their holy way of life. Whilst they would like everyone to believe in Islam and worship God they do not hound and harangue non believers.
Peace can only come when religion is taken away from politics and religious zealots are banned by law from ranting.

God wants us to share His word with the world. That is what He said when told the apostles to go out and make fishers of men. He said for us to pray for our enemies, which is what I do as well as share the word of God with others.
2 Thessalonians 3:14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

You have heard it say, "Love your neighbor, and hate your enemy." But I (Jesus) tell you: "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven...(Matthew 5:43-45)
I will stand and pray with you, even from a distace.
REMEMBER.....when you pray....
But when you pray, do NOT be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by everyone. ....
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you....
Do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do NOT be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. (Matthew 6:5-8)

Amen...you said some things I've been thinking lately. But, we need to pray for everyone, not just haters of God or fellow Christians, but everyone else in between as well :)

you are right, we don't need to defend our god. But what greater testimony is there if we just love one another, help one another. in fact the bible tells me that he is OUR advocate. he defends us to the father, so that we may enter in to heaven.
I heard one time....while you are pointing one finger at someone just remember that you have three pointing at you.
also the word tells us that there is no greater gift than love. so if the world could just get hold of that one thing,Love we truly would be better off.

You know, as noble as this may seem to you, it's actually pretty rude and copndescending to put it up in a place like this.
Think about it, do YOU like when people point out YOUR flaws right in front of you, while pretending you're not there?
While I think we should be praying for lost sheep, it should be done in the shelter of our faith communities or in our hearts- otherwise you're just asking for approval from your fellows, and you've already recieved your reawrd for your good deeds.
Teach when you are asked, pray when you are implored- but really, leave the poor people alone. They have free will to live their lives how they choose.

God bless you. It was a true Christian somewhere in the world that did not know me that prayed me to be saved and delivered from alot of things that I was doing. They or he/she did not know my name but they prayed for me and it is our duty to pray for those who are lost. God bless.
