whats the price?
dont pay over 399 for that. its slow and has hardly any memory.
todays laptops. like the one i just got,
1.5 gigs of ram
2.4 gig processor
all the rest and a 80 gig hdd.

999 bucks.

they one you have listed is kind of old and slow mate.
dont pay much for it.

and a puny hard drive too? argh
299 for the one you've listed.
20 gigs is nothing.
a flash memory stick can hold 5 gigs.

I would pass on this laptop unless someone was going to toss in a free tank of gas of my truck or something.

I wish human beings might end complaining approximately Vista. a number of the folk doing the complaining are those that are judging it on what they have heard and not on own journey. people who've had journey and are nonetheless complaining very in all probability have not used it because of the fact the hot updates have come out. With SP1 obtainable for loose acquire, there is no longer something incorrect with Vista! it truly is been more suitable and the bugs have been worked out. howdy, i began on XP and characteristic an astonishing volume of appreciate and fond emotions for it. yet i wouldn't in any respect in a million years return to XP after having Vista! it is going to easily be a count of time, and probable no longer an exceptionally long term, till all help for XP is no longer obtainable considering Microsoft no longer sells, or installs XP. it truly is been pulled from the cabinets and you will't purchase a sparkling replica of XP. So certainly, Vista is the present and the futur!

Actually it all boils down to what you want to do with this laptop. If it's just for some office work like type letters do spread sheets surf web and check emails then its fine but if you are expecting do more then its way behind the current available models below 1000.

This sounds like a very basic system. The memory definitely needs to be upgraded, the hard drive is minimal, and slow, most laptops these days will burn dvds, not just cds.

Its a basic system...definately get more memory/hard drive.
Depending on your budget you could probably get a higher CPU PIII 1.2Ghz may not be the fastest bloke in town
