Separation from God as a result of sin. Thus, to a greater or lesser extent, we are all suffering from spiritual death during mortality. This separation is only permanent if one does not make use of the atonement of Christ, which allows mankind to overcome both physical and spiritual death. To be reunited with the perfected body and come into the presence of God.

Good news indeed.

spiritual death is now the status of satan by name and his fallen angels. satan's fallen angels will be destroyed when JESUS returns--pretty soon, i might add.

no other being has been condemned to spiritual death yet. those that are not redeemed in this earth age must go thru millineum in danger of mortal death or spiritual death. then satan will be loosed a short time. those that choose to worship him then will be blotted out forever=a spiritual death.

"fear not those that can destroy your flesh body, but rather fear HIM who can destroy both body and soul!"

Spiritual death means that the spirit is not alive in you therefore you have no capacity to see or understand the things of God, for God and His Realm are Spirit. When one accepts the Gift of God, the Spirit comes alive and you are born of God, a new creation, now able to see and learn in that Dimension.

In a million Corinthians 15, it talks approximately how we are able to be immortal by using Christ, somewhat in verses fifty 3 & fifty 4. "For this corruptible could placed on incorruption, and this mortal could placed on immortality. So whilst this corruptible shall have placed on incorruption, and this mortal shall have placed on immortality, then she be introduced to pass the asserting it somewhat is written, death is swallowed up in victory."
