Have you called the city, county, and state health offices?

Pick up a copy of Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillen for some good ideas.

Go to www.cancer.com and see what resources they can offer.

God is the first place I would turn if I was you. I've been there. I'm an ovarian cancer overcomer of 1 year this Friday. We trusted the Lord for my healing, and I'm alive today. I went through chemo for 9 months and endured 2 surgeries. Mine was stage 3. It's great that you could catch it in such an early stage with your daughter. There are books and herbs and all kinds of natural things you can try. If you want to go the doctor route, make sure you choose an accredited facility that has experience in this field and choose an oncologist you trust and like. Your gyno should be able to refer you to a good oncologist. Mine did. You can explain your situation to them and they should be able to help you. A lot of cancer treatment centers have a built in cushion in their financial dept. to help with cancer patients because the treatments are so costly. Praise be to God, my treatments were almost $30,000 EACH and all of them were written off! Start with your gyno and go from there. Mayo clinic and MD Anderson are excellent places!

I ran in to the same money problems. The system really screws you if you are single and trying to do things the right way. Go to medi-shure.org It is a Christian based organization that helps out people that otherwise may not be offered insurance. Good Luck!

well, i don't know what type she has or where she is planning on getting treatment from, but i had no insurance and no money and i went to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. They have a program that will pay for all your treatment and the drugs are only $3 each. Plus, it's the best place in the world.

Try a search using the phrase FREE CANCER RESOURCES There is lots of help out there.

Mother Teresa used to remind us that nobody should have to die alone. Likewise, nobody should have to grieve alone or cry alone either. Or laugh alone or celebrate alone.

We are made to travel life's journey hand in hand. There is someone ready to grasp your hand today. And someone hoping you will take theirs.

Remember to hang on to one another!

Medicaid is for anyone that is low income. You don't have to have children to get it. I was young and sick a long time ago and I recieved it. Maybe it's different now.

Try the cancer society. Also, go to Social Services again and apply and also for disability.

Go to your local church and have them set up a fundraiser for her. Also go to your local TV station and radio station and tell them what you just told me. If those don't work, go to Indiana's largest city (Indianapolis?) and try to get free care there via Hill-Burton or other charity. Hope this helps. Take care and I will pray for her.

Hello, I live in Virginia. I have heard commercials many times for people who cannot afford insurance for their children. Because she is under 21, she may be able to get FAMIS insurance. I hope they are able to assist you. Good Luck!

Check with your local chapter of the American Cancer Society. They should be able to advise you as to what's in your area.
Best wishes to you!
