No, it started long before that. It's much deeper than a disagreement of Islam with USA.

No. It's suffering because of Islam. If Islam disappeared over night so would most of the wars currently going on and most terrorists.

The war is not between the US and islam, the war is between islam and the entire world. The US is one of the few in the world that has the balls to stand up to their b.s. The world is suffering because religions are trying to dictate how the world functions, and it is obvious that religion has no business what so ever in the realm of politics. We have separation of state and religion in the US, but even that is growing thin. Religions whould be kept in the church and out of international relations, than maybe we can have peace.

Funny how the religion of Islam is fighting the US government instead of Christianity. By the posts on this board, it seems Christianity is itself attacked by so-called atheists and even agnostics. Unfortunately, Christianity is not a cohesive group.
But the showdown between predominately "Christian West" and Islam was bound to happen, so why not now?

Bush(under the influence his OIL loving cabinet) NOT USA have imposed the war against Muslims. Is their any judicial enquiry held about 9/11. How just after the attack, Bush knew that it was Talibans ?? Why the highjakers were allowed to get flight training under official cover ?? Where are Weapons of Mass-Destructions in Iraq ?? There are thousands of on-solved questions....which point out towards the other side of ths scene.

Because of sin, we are witnesses of the reality of sin and what it does. That is why God had to die to redeem us and he will come again and save us and rid the universe of sin, sinners and the devil Satan forever.
Before there was sin, no one knew really what it was it was just a bad thing. But sooner or later it would arise and Lucifer initiated it and therefore in God's infinite wisdom sin is allowed to be played out so that the character of God will be seen and that all the warning before was warranted.
Sin will never again rare its ugly head because God will not allow it again and we wont either because we see what it causes.
Even God had to pay for sin by the death of His only son, which was no ordinary death - no man or woman on earth every had that death - he died for the world everybody who died already died for themself.
