In most cases yes,
What comes easy most people don't appreciate in general. If it is free o easy to get most people don't cherish it. This can also be true of male - felmale relations.
So what are you looking for?
Easy sex, friendship, love?
More important look at youself and think about how you might feel after particulary if your partner doesn't come back or spend time with you. What might you feel if your partner then goes to someone else?
No guarantees but is it a lot more likely that your prospective partner will be less likely to take the relationship not too seriously if it takes some effort.
Don't be led completely by feelings, do some resarch.

The real question is: will you respect yourself? For some guys, it's all about the sex; he probably wouldn't even be dating you if he didn't think he was gonna get some. If you're okay with that, and know that, at the end of the day, you're just an object, then go for it (precautions taken, of course). If you're not, then absolutely wait. And yes, there are guys out there that are actually interested in you for you, and will be willing to wait. Any guy that's really worth keeping around is going to want you to be happy with you first.

I usually make a them wait for at least 3-5 months in the relationship, but I have made a guy wait 3 years before. I would get to know them till I was ready.

It will not make him respect you more. It will be a test to determine how much he respects you. His level of respect for you will remain consistent whether you give it up on the first date or wait until you marry the guy. But you will know how much he respects you simply by waiting until you are ready. If he decides that he no longer wants to be with you after making him wait too long then he really wanted you for your body.

Yes take time to get to know a person before you sleep with them giving it up too quickly isn't cool he'll lose alot of respect for you waiting also makes the sex better because you'll feel more comfortable around that person and you won't be all nervous

Depending on his goals. I'm at an age now that game playing is more of a bore to me. If he sees you as someone that he want to be with, then he'll keep you dear. I've honestly waited on women, but my overall goal was still the same. So to make a long story short; go with you gut instincts, because he's going to do whatever he wants to do anyways....Good Luck
P.S. He will still find satisfaction while waiting, so it's really no biggie....

Not in all cases. Some men will respect you for you decision to wait but most will just go and get it where it is available. You never know which one the guy will turn out to be.

Yes its better if you wait, its a good way to weed out those who just want to get into your panties. They will get tired and leave. where as the one who still sticks around would be worth it. And that one will respect you. If you rush in to things with one of the others it would be just what they wanted and depending on their level of maturity they may even dirty your name.

I would definitely respect a girl a LOT more if she wanted to wait. Sex was meant for marriage.
