Does anyone have any tips for what to do when it is raining/snowing/bad weather outside? It has been raining a lot by my house (really puts a damper in my walking/biking routine). I have a bad back (currently working on that with the chiropractor) so please keep this in mind. In a couple of weeks I will be inheriting an exercise bike, so I'm sure this will help some. However, any ideas on how to break up the monotony of it all would be helpful. All this dreary weather is really a downer.

Okay, stuff to do that doesn't involve going outside in the unpleasant weather. And I don't have/want a gym membership (too expensive). So please other things to do besides shovel snow or go to the gym.

I used to live in Ohio and we had a lot of rainy and snowy days and it was so hard to get motivated on days like that. I enjoyed getting up early and going to the mall and walking around the mall. Many people dont know that most malls open early to permit walkers to walk the inside of the malls before the stores open. I did that, also just doing housework was a good exercise. I would also recommend maybe a low-impact exercise video/DVD you can find them at Wal-Mart. Hope this helps a little!
