If you love to do scrapbooks. Creative Memories is a great thing for at home moms to do. My sister in law does it and loves it.

Bar job, if you have a partner cos it's only 6 hrs max normaly and you can choose the hours you prefer to work and can even choose only to work weekends. I have a full time job now (I don't have kids) but still work in a bar and have chosen to only work Sat nights and sometimes on a Sunday afternoon. So it's really flexible. Apart from that, you could start babysitting for a little extra cash and set up a little creche at home. Alternatively, there are a few businesses that allow you to work at home as part of telesales as all you need is to meet targets and use the phone. Ask around the bigger companies and see if they will allow you to do this. All the best!

If you are well organized, and know how to talk to people Pampered Chef is a great company to work for. You get people to host parties and you and the host both get points that you can use to get free merchandise. I used the points I had to get Christmas gifts for family members. It was only $90 to start and you get over $300 in merchandise and a video on how to host a party your starter kit. You can even advertise on craigslist to get people to have a party. They have tips on how to have a Pampered Chef Bridal Shower too. With Pamered chef you do not have to buy the merchandise up front. You take orders and collect the money at the time and you have a seperate bank account with your Pampered Chef card # so when you deposit the money you place the order. No extra merchandise sitting in your house that you can't sell! You also get major discounts on other products if you do not have enough points.

A friend of mine, she waitresses only 2 nights a week, and by the end of the month she has between 750 and 1000$. Its easy money, and you are only gone 2 nights out of the week. I dont believe any of those online things are really worth while.

Transcribing doctor's or lawyer's tapes.
Also try Mystery Shopping - get paid to shop and give your opinions. http://www.mysteryshops.com. It is legit -- I do it.
Please, please don't do tupperware, partylite, discovery toys, mary kay. The market is so saturated with that crap. You'll get stuck with tons of expensive inventory. your friends will start resenting your trying to sell this junk to them.
