No, God does not treat everyone equally. God is not a human being, we don't mean that much to him, and he is amused by a few of us that he favors.
God created mankind because He was BORED and wanted something new to amuse Him.
To humans, God is an alien playing with puppets. To God, humans are quirky, amusing lab rats.
Got a better explanation? I don't think so.

It is not a contradiction at all because all people who have heard the gospel which tells them of the love of God, and the sacrifice made for man by Jesus, have EQUAL opportunity to accept Christ as their Saviour. It is THEIR choice to accept Him or reject Him so, if they reject Him and miss spending eternity with Him that is through their actions not GOD'S. As for those who have never heard of Jesus - and there are still some who have not - God will judge them according to what they DO know, not what they don't know, but everyone should be capable of believing that there is A GOD. Romans 1:20 makes this clear when it says "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" This shows that all people on this earth should be able to accept that a Creator (someone very much higher than themselves) made all the things they see and should be able to accept that there is a God. If they don't then they are without excuse. This refers mainly to atheists who say that there is no God whatsoever.

God takes a more passive role in this life. I think a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that life should be fair. Life isn't fair, we are all given different challenges, and different obstacles to overcome. God's justice will come into effect after we die. Then he will treat everyone equally. I don't mean we will all get the same reward, just that we will all be judged according to the same rules. Those who experience more hardship in this life and remain faithful, will receive even more rewards in heaven. The point of this life is not to be rich, or have an easy life. The point is to learn and be faithful, worry about that, and God will see that you are justly rewarded later.

He does treat everyone equal, but because of the Fall, bad things can happen to anyone, even the good people. It wasn't like that in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve made their choice, thus, we get all the bad stuff. The choice to either go to Heaven, or Hell, it the equality. Everyone, no matter who they are, can choose.

yeah the answer is god lOVES everybody the exact same. there are bad things in this world, some people have it bad living with all sorts of diseases, while billionares are bouncing in their gold. god didnt plan on having it like this but adam and eve disobeyed god so now our world is like this. god wants to give us a chance to help them. if god made everthing perfect the way is was supposed to be and everybody got their way, then there would be no reason to have god in your life because we would be perfect and no reason to go to heaven cause it would all be the same all over again in heaven just as it was on earth. hope this helps!

We have each come here of our own volition to learn our own chosen lessons in our own chosen circumstances. God gives everyone equal treatment - the deal is simple. Whatever you think God sends. If you focus on lack, that is what you get. If you focus on tragedy, that is what you get. If you focus on abundance, that is what you get.
Think of the people who have overcome amazing obstacles, tragedy and illness. The thing they all have in common is they were determined to get over it and focused on the positive outcome rather than surrender to their circumstances.
I think that this planet is sort of an institute of higher learning - and there is much to be learned in every circumstance.
Peace!

The God of Abraham is fair
The God of this world (Satan) is not and he rules.
The God of Abraham, is only how you keep the faith, and are judged by that. Does not matter if you are rich or poor, fit or ill.
This life is short 100 years
what is 10,000 years to all eternity?

If your god created someone with the knowledge they would suffer in hell for eternity, then he does not create people equal. He took something from non-existence to a hellish burning in hell forever. Which seems very cruel.
