It honestly depends on the bar. really the consequences are less for you- you'll probably just get kicked out if they'll even serve you- that can be a problem.... but if the bar gets caught serving a minor they get hevay fees and shut down quite often.... thats why they're so damned strict about IDing people. good luck!

Most places card when you enter the premises, others when you buy the alcohol. If a group of friends are together and one goes to the counter and orders the drinks you might get by with drinking but if the place gets raided and your carded you WILL pay a fine. If you do your drinking in the privacy of a hotel room or an outdoor activity where alcohol is permitted chances are no one will bother you unless there is trouble, as in intoxicated. I've been to Florida enough to know that even though your not 21 yet but close enough, as long as you don't get out of hand they do turn a blind eye to underage drinking.

Just don't drink and drive!!!!

Many bars get fined so highly for allowing minors to drink they will only allow you to buy your own drink at a time (unless it's table service when the waiter/waitress can see who's ordering what) - the concept of the round is a very British thing so they don't really feel they're missing anything by this rule.

Also, many bars won't even let you in unless you can produce a photo ID (ie. your passport, or state driving license).

So you may not have to worry about the consequences of getting caught, as you may not get the chance. There are bars that aren't so strict, but you may have to look around to find them.

Your best bet is to either get one of your mates to buy some drinks at a store/supermarket - or try restaurants, & drink after a meal, or try your hotel bar as they may just take your room number & forget to worry about age if you look old enough.

However, if you do manage to find a bar where they're a bit casual with applying th no rounds & photo ID to get in rules - the consequences will likely simply be a telling off & getting thrown out. I wouldn't panic too much - they're not going to call the police & have you thrown in prison or anything like that as the bar gets such heavy fines if caught.

Another thing you could try is "forgetting" your passport at the hotel while all your mates have theirs proving they're 21 (& therefore so are you) - and find a sympathetic bouncer who'll let you in - & if they check photo ID on the door they probably don't check inside or worry about rounds too much.

between the biggest risks in underage eating is that someone is extra probably to develop alcohol and drug issues the formerly they commence utilising the stuff. So, in case you want to reduce the probability that you'll develop into an alcoholic do not drink underage. yet as on your certain concern, we are going to, I doubt they'll ensue with one hundred twenty+ law enforcement officials, so that you in ordinary words could be a touch swifter than ordinary, in case you realize what I advise.

While you probably would be carded and not gain entry, why risk it? You can have fun with your friends in the safety of their home/s and drink there. Whatever you do, please do not drink and drive. And make sure you drink plenty of water before going to bed to avoid a hangover. Good luck.

most clubs and bars card you when entering these days so you are most likely not going to be allowed in. consequences vary, but most places will just kick you out. if they start to get crazy...run.
