They love you.

As long as they are getting plenty of excercise it will be fine.

Mine had Chicken nuggets last night. I always fix them something different.

Mine just turned 1, she's about 65 lbs. It's hard to give you an answer, I free feed. I just fill her bowl up in the morning and she grazes during the day. (She never eats it all, it's a really big bowl) Sometimes you can do this with an older dog, but I found it is best to start the minute you get them home. I am guessing her bowl holds about 10 cups, she eats about 5 cups throughout the day. The only other thing I do, is, add 1 tablespoon of a GOOD quality canned food, in the morning. My Lab is obviously not fat, and she never over eats. Hope this was somewhat helpful.

I used to have 2 great pyranese dogs that needed daily medication. Wrapping it in a slice of cheese was they only way they'd take it. Didn't seem to hurt them a bit.

Cheese is fine for dog's. Even my vet offers the dogs can squeeze cheese while give vaccinations.
People food in general is not bad for dogs, so long as it is monitored and you are not giving them junk or scraps (fat, or other parts that you yourself would not eat). My dog's enjoy a salad just about everyday.

As long as it's given sparingly..you don't wanna have them hooked on human food but treats every once in a while won't hurt them...maybe look into gourmet dog treats?? That's what I give mine for treats...

i give my lab bits of cheese, but not usually a whole slice. he LOVES kraft singles.

i doubt it would do any damage...it's just cheese, however....it may be stopping them up in the poop department. if they are eliminating regularly and not struggling to get it out (sorry) then i see no problem!

have fun with your pups and take care!!!

It sounds like you have healthy puppies. I feed my 120 pound Akita cheese as a treat every once and a while- and he is perfectly healthy.
Al long as your dog exercises- and basically acts like a normal dog, they are fine.

Many dogs are lactose intolerant, meaning that dairy products can make them sick (usually mild diarrhea). In most cases, though, cheese is well tolerated, and will cause no long-term "bad" effects. BOTTOM LINE: Go for it! (in moderation, of course)
