It's never a problem. Option One: There is a USB cable supplied with the camera to allow the computer to read the memory card Options Two: You can buy a USB card reader that plugs into your computer and allows the memory card to be plugged into it. Either way you're covered no problem. If by "2000" you mean Windows 2000 you may just need the CD supplied with the camera to load the drivers for the camera. Easy done!

If you connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable the camera appears on your monitor as another memory device with an icon. Just drag the pictures from files and drop them on the camera memory icon. If instead you took out the camera's memory chip and put it into a reader on the computer than that chip appears as a memory device with an icon. Do the same drag and drop and it is in the camera chip ready for the chip to go back to the camera.

Your camera should come with the recommendation that you NOT load pictures directly to your camera. You can, however, get one of those little cases designed to carry your SD card that turns into a USB reader. I know I am being lousy at the description but I know what it looks like - I have one - I cannot remember what it is called. Anyway, you can put your card in that and slide it into your USB slot and it acts as a portable drive. Then you can drag and drop your pictures over onto what is now a new drive on your computer. Mine turns into Removable E.

You need a flash memory reader USB device (I bought one that cost about $8.00 which can handle 22 different types of flash memory)
Transfer your flash card to it, and just save the pictures to it, then reinsert it in the camera. Make sure you use the same picture format as the camera does (usually JPG)

If your computer has a flash memory card reader compatible with your cameras flash card, then plug the flash card into the computer and just copy the files you want.
Otherwise, you have to load the cameras proprietary software and use it.

from Computer to your Camera ? Are you shure this is what you want ?
ok ...so if yes...you will need to use a card reader/writer (USB). Go to any computer store with your card and ask for a device which is able to read and WRITE that type of card what you have.

Connect the memory card to the comouter, then a file will pop up and drag the images from the file you put it in to the file that popped up. Not the best explanation but I tried.

There should be a software provided with the camera. If not, check www.download.com for that kind of software.
