Belfast me old mate! Its funny though how they blast the irish for being stoopid but when you state "I'm Irish and looking for other people from Ireland!", you get responses like this:
"work...America", "I'm Greek and right now i'm at home in Athens.", "Scottish,,, in Cumbria"
I think when they're handing out that trophy for the dumbest country we've got a few contenders!
No offence to the people i quoted, am only taking the p*ss :)

I'm from north Texas, which is where I am now. My ancestors were from Ireland. Although I've never been there, I've always felt a strong connection to their "old country". I would dearly love to see where they came from (Colerraine?). I keep telling myself that one day when I get rich I'll go there for an extended period of time and see the whole country.

I know that's not what you asked for, but I just couldn't resist chiming in to say "howdy".

Honey I was just there over the bank holiday weekend!
I went to see the last night of Riverdance and I have fallen in love with Ireland.
Do you KNOW how sexy the Irish accent is???

I'm a gypsy! Well, not literally. I was born in Dover, England but I grew up in San Francisco, California. I also lived in the Philippines for a while, then worked on an international cruise liner. I'm currently on a business duty in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in search of furniture and furnishings for a retail store I'm planning to open soon.
