Yes, they are open but you have to check they will be like on Sunday hours which could be 11:00 am. to 6:00 or noon to 6:00 so check with the place you are going to.

surely NYC isnt that busy, there isnt that lots open because of the fact its a trip. all human beings interior the city would be a vacationer as all new yorkers would be at, long sea coast, jones sea coast, or the jersey shore. Thats slightly shaggy dog tale, yet fairly, a lot of human beings circulate away the city for the three day weekends.

Absolutely. BUT, you will probably find large crowds - not only is it a holiday weekend, but school starts the following week, so there will be lots of back to school shoppers.
Go early is my advice.
