You don't KNOW do you? You BELIEVE.

No one has proof about the existence of God (or Gods), either pro or con. So, don't try to rain on everyone else's parade. Buddha would not approve of your hostility.

'Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.' Buddha

Can you conclusively prove, with evidence, there is no God? There is substantially more evidence there is than there isn't. Darwins theories have long been debunked by eveolutionary biologists who - to this day - can not explain the miracle of life. We did not evolve from cosmic slop - it is a statistical impossibility that human life could develop without some biochemical intervention. Again, this has been proven by evolutionary biologists yet, ironically, Darwin's outdated inaccurate theories are still taught in biology classes to this day. It would be like teaching that the earth is flat, regardless of what satellite images and photos from the space shuttle demonstrate otherwise. Also, the concept of the soul being both unique and distinct from the brain is also a subject of considerable research. So, to say there isn't a God without any substantiation is smug, ignorant, and completely unintelligent/unsphisticated.

I think that you asked a very biased question, in which you already stated what I believe to be very false.

You are correct that the Buddha (ol' Sid) is not a god. Thank you for realizing that. Some people pray to the Buddha, and I laugh every time.

You are not your own god. Not my any stretch of the imagination. To think so is the very height of hubris.

There is but one God, though we know of him in 3 persons (Father, Son, Spirit). Amen.

I think that you are a pretty ignorant kid that should do more research. God treats us all equally, men treat each other differently (THINK) He forgives both rich and poor and accepts whites and blacks into heaven. The things that happend in this worl dar enot made by God but by man, and that is because God gave us free will.

YOu don't worship Buddha, yet you have huge *** golden statues that you have to get on your knees when you see.....(THINK) oh yeahm, and take off your shoes when you walk into his temple....do some research kid before you make silly dumb questions that are easily answered...

God DOES treat everyone equally. Salvation is available ".....to ALL those that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call". We however DO NOT treat God equally! We twist His Word to suit us or reject Him all together. Ever thinnk about that? We have Heaven or Hell waiting for us. IT'S OUR CHOICE where we wind up, not His. He created them as a seperation between good and eveil beacuse he realized that they could never exist equally on the same plane.

How can someone be such of a pessimist?
You think he is not kind huh??? do u ever remember him in the happy moments..or is it always at the bad times that u remember that oh! God has been so unkind.
This life on earth is your trial n test....today what ever you do u will be accountable to god for it in the life hereafter...and if u still think it is bullshit ..then i hope somebody whom u know and who is dead already comes in to your dream n tell u the reality..or the last thing is when u die n know it urself...but thats gonna be too late.!

God does treat everyone equally.....

He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. -Matthew 5:45

But he is not going to save everybody equally, only those that humble themselves and follow the path of salvation laid out for us in Jesus.

We are not our own gods because we did not create the universe and have no control over our afterlives. (except by our choices that either lead us closer to God or away from)

Why do people think there is a God?
Well aparently there is enough evidence that the overhelming majority of people troughout all of history have been convinced that he exist. Often convinced to the point where they will give their lives - some literally, others in acts of service - for him. Personally, I have only to look around me to see the evidence of his existence and his goodness everywhere.

Does he treat all the same? Every person is able to make a decision to believe in him. Every person is able to pray. Every person is able to receive his aid if they turn to him for it. How much fairer can he be then that?

Do you think convincing some one with this matter ?

Think ur self: Do some people still believed in God for centuries if they had not already found an answer to this basic question ?

you havent an idea about anything- you wont know if there is a god until after you are dead. that is why it is called faith. also, if you ever took the trouble to pick up a book you would find that there isnt a very god out there. and generally never treats anyone equally. now, go pick up your buddhist teachings and find out he doesnt condone belittling others believes
