Personally I don't think I would accept it, but there are no specific guidelines on this I don't think. There is a testimony on equality though and historically Quakers rejected titles that made an artificial difference between people. Hope this helps.

Don't know what it is! someone has just written, its, My Bloody Efforts as against OBE Other Buggers Efforts and as regards Quaker and Amish they are based USA so i dont think they would know what MBE is either. I'm curious why you should think a recipitent would find accepting a medal would be against their beliefs
