Stress and anxiety are no fun. :( If it gets to the point in which it's impairing your ability to get throught the day, I would recommend therapy (to help identify what is causing the anxiety, and to reduce symptoms).
There are other things you can do to manage your stress and anxiety levels. The following help to alleviate stress/anxiety:
-meditation
-relaxing music
-walking, yoga or another form of exercize
-a balanced diet
-regular, full night's sleep
Best of luck!

I take a nice hot bath with my favorite baths salts or bubbles and a good book. Or if it's a nice day I like to take my book to the park and sit there and read for a while. Just forget about everything for an hour or so. I also like to turn on some soothing music and lay down, close my eyes and just think about the music and let my mind wander from there. Don't know if any of that is helpful, but I sure hope you find a way to relax and destress.

A warm bath. Take a walk in nature - somewhere in a park is good, or even just around your neighbourhood. Just a relaxing stroll - it's amazing how much it helps. Getting outside helps a lot - try a nice drink on a patio somewhere with a nice view.
Nutritionally - vitamins B and C are very important in keeping yourself stress free. VERY important, especially if something stressful is happening in your life right now.

Go for a walk -- sit down and read, pick up your camera, go to the park, sit on a bench, and wait -- wait for the bird to appear in your lens or the squirrel or the animal peeking through the foliage, go to the local park and run through the water squirters (lots of parks have these now as a way to cool off the kiddies -- you would not believe how many adults enjoy them too!), etc etc etc.
My camera is a big stress-buster -- I have a Digital SLR that I keep with me all the time -- when I go out to shoot images, it just relaxes me.

try to find a calming place, it may be in a bathtub, your bedroom. out in the backyard, wherever it is go there, sit, lay down relax. and then when you can't actually be in the place visualize yourself there and how good it felt to relax. force the things out of your mind that are stressing you, for just a few minutes. you will come back to reality and the stress, but with a new focus and hopefully some energy to help you deal better. good luck.

First, I will calm down. Taking breathes, very relaxing ones, really helps. Then, I will find a good book, a comfy chair, and sit. I would also scent up the room with relaxing aromas, and candles really help sooth the atmosphere. If I am not in the mood to read, I would listen to music. Really calm ones.
Try these, maybe it can help.
PS: I am not stressed anymore. Thanks to these tips! :p

I have seen a lot of suggestion to get you relaxed. But dear, I will suggest you to do what you like the most (I don't know your liking). I am sure that you are confused between the things. To get through it, just concentrate to your target and then go for it. Thing about your good past time. This will help you a lot. Yes meditation will also help you a lot. Lastly no one but yourself only can help you out. Bye and best of luck.

Occupy yourself with some pleasurable activity. Something you can enjoy, like a massage. Go on a dirty weekend or take a cruise with that fun guy you had always fancied. Stay off the phone, computer etc. Just lose yourself for a while in peace and quiet. If that still does not work, email me. Maybe we can brainstorm for more ideas. LOL

You have to find out why and how you get stressed. If it is from work, not much you can do. You will have to do something physical to vent it out like punch bags, jogging, exercise
Stress comes from the mind. If you are tired, you mind will not be bothered by the things that stress you.
Excerise is the best stress solution.
