It has suddenly dawned on me, a massive amount of people who die in this world on a daily basis, brush their teeth first thing in the morning, is there a link between toothpaste and death? you have to wonder?

Actually a brilliant question. As long as you don't take it at face value.
It shows how "studies" usually paid for by the advertiser can make claims that their product can fix whatever they claim. The studies take one symptom or whatever and compare it to some other unrelated "fact" and state one causes the other. These studies do not take into consideration the real cause and effect but they claim their product can fix it. This is almost always done when the product does not have to undergo scientific testing (double blind) prior to approval by a government body.
That's why you hear so many ads for useless herbal supplements

I've also noticed that a large number of people who brush their teeth eat daily. Maybe toothpaste is the cause of hunger.

i woulndt say so; check the causes of death on national statistics; I think swallowing a bit of toothpaste hasnt killed anyone...?
But then again...how do you know all these people brush their teeth every morning. with what toothpaste, with how much of it and does the brand of toothbrush make a adifference .....
you can actually make a research project out of this and see if Colgate sponsors....:-)

mno toothpaste is not a killer use toothpaste 4 gods sake or u will have all ur teeth taken out and that will be a killer of pain

Also, I've noticed that just before people die, they were breathing. Therefore, if it isn't the toothpaste killers, it's probably because of the breathing.....Hmmmm.

Im amazed at how many people have a lack of a sense of humour!
Im thinking its farting, think about is people fart everyday, people die everyday, women fart less therefore have a longer life expectancy! Everytime you fart a little bit of your insides leaves you till you have nothing less! Never considered toothpast though....interesting!
