Just be natural and don't feel inferior. Appearance though important is not all that women see. I know of one short guy having a wife and a girlfriend. You say ridiculous but it happens. One thing about him is that he is very joyous and frank. Wait for your chance.

To overcome this problem? There is NO problem. I don't get turn off by them, on the contrary! My hubby is shorter than me. He's never had a problem with that. Except one, all the women in his life were taller than he. He's 5'4". As I said, he's never considered that as a problem. He is absolutely wonderful and I'm so lucky I have him in my life. And guys, don't forget, the most intelligent, most of the geniuses, and most of the big leaders in the history were short men. Women who don't know how to appeciate shorter men or don't even want to consider them, I am really sorry for them, honestly....
OK, after I wrote this, I've read some of the postings. To those women who say they need a taller man to feel safe... Ladies, I am sorry to dissapoint you, but that feeling doesn't come exclusively from the physical appearance. It's a lot more about personality. Since I've met my hubby I was amazed of his personality. I am still in awe about that! As I said, he's 5'4", but in a room with other 5 taller men HE is going to tower over them. When you are in his presence you feel his strength, power personality and undisturbed confidence. I've never met anybody like him, yet. This is what really makes me feel safe, real safe!

Turned off by short men, not necessarily, but I want my man to be taller than me, which is not hard because I am only 5 3.

No women are not turned off by short men. You need to be confident in who you are short or tall.

I don't think short men are unattractive - i'm 5'7 and I have dated short guys and very often found shorter men attractive. However, I think that it does depend on the female. If she is interested in this person on a personal level I don't think the height will have anything to do with it. :)

No way! I have never picked out a man I like based on anything other than the way I feel about him. And sometimes its the little guys who are packing heat, if ya know what i mean...
When the attraction is there, its there. Doesnt matter what size he is.

Woman are strange beings (I know!). A short man to a woman, means a man who probably could'nt defend her in a confrontation; someone who a taller man can intimidate. Most men don't look at another man's height, but they look at another man's body built. Because I am only 5ft 3in,I would not prefer a man who is my height, because I like looking "up at" a man,as well as looking "up to" him. I would prefere to have a man standing at least 5ft 10in to 6ft 2in, that way he can give me a "horsey-back" ride when I want one!

I always liked the guys I dated to at least be taller than me. But I am 5'4 so that wasn't too hard. I did date a guy that was my height or shorter (it varied day to day). But I think that the reason he was an exception was cause he had really broad shoulders and was really strong. I know this sounds really stupid but I think I liked my boyfriends to be taller than me because I felt safer with them. Like they were my protectors. If I dated someone shorter, I didn't have that feeling. I know that's dumb cause height doesn't have anything to do with that but, its just one of those things.
Now, my husband is 5'7 and three quarters (he lost a quarter cause he is Airborne and he keeps track). He's considered short but he's tall enough for me to have that safe feeling- and I wouldn't have him any other way.
My suggestion to you, find a woman that loves you for the way you are. We women are kinda funny. I don't know if other women are like me but if they are, add on some muscle. It might help.

First of all, there is nothing you can do about your height. Don't look at it as all women being turned off by short guys.......we are all different and we all like different things.........just remember, variety is the spice of life.
