If you need to ask, then you must feel there IS something wrong. Why sulk? You are young and vibrant with many good years of wonder ahead of you. Get out and get around. I have gone through entire days zoned out or not intouch with reality, but not to the point of being sullen or sulky. It drives people away. Maybe that is your objective. But the patterns you set now will mark you for life.

Sulking does not accomplish anything. When you sulk a lot, it changes your look. When you do it too often, you are actually exercising your face and training it to look uglier and older. It is like when you don't wear sun glasses and you are always out in the sunlight, then you crimp your forehead all the time. It gradually leaves a lot of lines.

Sulkers annoy the people around them. Sulking is moping with a slightly angry attitude. If you just get quiet and thoughtful then no, nothing is wrong with that. You are entitled to time alone with your thoughts.

sulking usually indicates a kind of "poor me, feel sorry for me, I'm so pitiful" kind of attitude---often a negative method to get attention. Is that what you want? To whine until you get your way?
Now spacing out....means something else....

It is selfish to the extreme and childlish. Grow up, take on resposibility and take charge of your own life by being ACTIVE in working to obtain what you desire. That is called accepting your ADULT responsibilities, and that is part of being an Adult.
