Why is it that if I am a believer of a religion,I percieve that if I dont follow it I will go to hell and If I do follow it then I will go to heaven...Vice versa,Someone else in another part of world with same thinkng, objectives and ambitions as mine believes in another religion and percieves the same as I do of my religion...How can we all know the truth...Why dont all the religions in this world meet at a single platform to discuss in a peaceful way their ideas and beliefs so that the whole world could know the one and only true religion and so that all the wars and bloodshed due to religious hatred could be diminished.e.g:DR.ZAKIR NAIQs programme of comparision of ISLAM with other religions on scientific basis(a great programme.if you are of any religion and havent watched it,watch it...Its very informative and clears up many misconceptions...

This is an excellent question. The answer is simple: Our Creator provided us with advanced thinking capabilities and made us accountable on this basis, we have to use deep thinking, reasoning, and look for Evidence-based knowledge. Evidences were mandatory for all previous prophets including Moses, and Jesus PBUT, so how come some people today disregard the importance of evidences and just believe on the basis of blind faith? The holy Quran is the mother of all miracles and any unbiased open minded truth seeker will easily recognize some of its innumerable miracles. Just visit this link to see some of them:

I don't follow a religion per say, but I just try to be a good person in general. The whole heaven/hell thing doesn't scare me, or get me excited.

I mean if God is all knowing and all wise, then why couldn't make life simpler for everyone and just pass down one scripture to follow? Why should there be the book of Judah, the Bible, and then the Koran?

Religion, to me, creates more problems than it resolves. Tyrants have used this 'religion' as a reason to mislead people to war and chaos. I don't know what to believe anymore, so I just believe that there is a God, and if you're gonna be good in this life, then you'll be rewarded later in your life. Just be good to others and live a satisfying life.

The 'TRUE' & 'RIGHT' ... “RELIGION”?

Is the one that best suits ‘YOUR’ individual: needs: & wants!!

The whole point of ‘Religion’: which was devised & created in the Pit of Hell: is to cause: -

Strife:
Division:
Confusion:
Hatred:
Bloodshed:
War: etc,

Amongst God’s Creation… ‘NOT’… Peace: Unity: & Harmony!!

& This ‘RELIGION’ does very well: & on an every increasing scale, with more & more venom!!

As those in a ‘Religion’ pick & choose those things which ‘BEST SUIT MAN’ & ‘Themselves’… Not ‘GOD’: You would be pushed in a ‘Single Platform’: to find any ‘Common Ground’, to have ‘ALL’ groups believe & follow!!

So until people can learn to follow ‘God’, as ‘He’ has lain out: & not ‘Religion’… the Strife: Division: Confusion: Hatred: Conflict, Bloodshed, War’s, etc: will continue!!!

Truth is found in God and his word. Religion, though it trys to be righteous, is not. Doing ritualistic things and not knowing the meaning, is meaningless. I say that because many religions have a ritual overtone to their belief. In ancient days, yes there were ritual like things done, ie sacrafices and cleansings, but there were meaning behind doing these things. So in moderen day, just following a ritual of things and not having a clue of why you do it is ridiculus. Truth is found in Gods word. In Gods word is were you can find why things were required, why certain things are no longer required, what is required of us and the reason for our existance. If you wholeheartedly pray for guidance and knowledge, you will receive it so that you can be enlightened to your questions and receive truth. If you don't you won't and you will not see and you will not hear and you will not know by choice of your own free will.

The meeting of all religions at a single platform would never work, people hold tight to their faith and will not bend. I don't believe that God would want his followers bending to satisfy worldly ambitions anyway. As a ChristianI believe that and even though I do not believe the Muslim Faith or follow it, and I see them differing in many ways, I would bet that they would also say that they will not bend to accomidate world vision, they are pretty true to their faith regardless of who thinks what about it.

Well, what did Christ Jesus say about all of this? He said there are no others than He. Who else died and then arose from the grave? He said that who ever denies Him He will deny before God, And then you will be held accountable for your sins. You can go from there and believe what you want. It is called free will. Before you go claiming ilsam and allah are so great though you really need to go and read up on these liars. And research the origin of the first known worship of allah among the arabs. It was a pagan demon god. And don't rely on a muslim to tell you the history of it. They tend to leave out some important facts and fail to recognize Jesus as arisen from the grave. All this come together stuff is a lie in some aspects. Some people have in their agenda a one world religion. And to me that is pretty scary to me. It isn't in Jesus teaching to worship pagan gods. Your choice. Don't get fooled by smooth talkers and liars. Alot of people will tell you Jesus was just a prophet, but what did Jesus say of Himself? That is what you need to discern.
By the way, for all of the all so wise teens that despouse Christianity, you don't get to Heaven by good deeds and morals. And whether or not man has done bad and evil things in the name of religion does not change what Christ Jesus said and commanded. All peopele sin no matter how hard we try to be a "good person. " That is why Jesus paid the price for you . So you could go to Heaven. None of us is perfect. Who are we to be so arrogant to tell God He is wrong? That is pretty absurd when you think about it.

I've always considered myself tolerant of others' beliefs, but you're honestly saying that you believe people of all religions could get together and have a discussion about which aspects of their faith are and aren't true? That's the most insane thing I've ever heard. Like some priest's going to say "actually we just made up the Jesus bit, but the ten commandments, let's keep that in". And why, after saying yourself that people all over the world believe different and contradictory things for the same reason do you still assume one of them is true?

The truth is found in the Bible which is God's word.

Romans 1:22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Many profess to know the truth but if they speak not from the Bible they are not from God. Why are we so quick to believe a lie and the words of so called learned men?

All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God's adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

All the religions of the world don't unite because only one is correct. All roads do not lead to Rome!
There is only one way to be saved, and only one saviour that was born of a virgin and died for our sins. Then all other ways you might attempt to get to God are not correct and won't work in the end.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I think that there is nothing wrong with believing in God, but that Religion is the root of all evil! Religion has killed more people than anything else except old age! I don't want to be told how to think and act, I can work that out for myself.

I believe that if you have a religion, be hot for it, for all of it, or find another religion that you can be hot for!

The truth is in the heat! Its like refining Gold, you don't pick out the atoms of gold one at a time from the ore, you melt the ore and pore out the gold.
