some ppl say it's a sign of Iron defeciency. You might want to check in with your dr for a routine round of blood work.

It can be caused by iron defeciency anemia. Pica is what u have it causese u to have weird cravings like clay soap dirt ect. Take iron supplements or see a doctor.

It usually doesn't do the ice much good!
Depends on the size of the ice. Big bits of ice are more likely to cause damage to the teeth.
It's a habit, don't believe everything you read on the internet!

certain its a troublesome difficulty like a stone and chewing on troublesome issues both its an ice dice or any food may reason wearing away your teeth structure in the longer time period. teeth can chip of inflicting gentle tooth requiring restorations.

Yes, it is a condition called PICA. sp? Usually it is an iron decency. I did this when pregnant with all three of my children. It went away a week after having them. It is not good for your teeth but will not hurt you otherwise. You need to talk to the Dr. It can progress to cravings for clay, laundry detergent, sponges,dirt, etc.... if you start having these tendencies call the Dr. immediately.

yes it is, you can get canker i know i came close to having it. not cancer canker or cankus, something like that, if it is a bad habit try to stay away from it or you will get canker.

I dont believe it is. HOWEVER it is a sign of anemia. Its called a Pica dont ask why people that might be anemic crave ice but they do.

not a deficiency... just a bad habit. you can chip or crack a tooth easily with ice chewing. not recommended!
