I mean an all together new religion with no past but a doctrine which appeals to you, would you be open enough to think for a change?

I am not asking if you will change- but would you consider it with open mind?

Already have: The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster (pbuhna) has everything a person could want. It has beer volcanos, stripper factories, Duct Tape Pirates, and plenty of balls (meat).

Plus, it is a Creationist Faith! So when Creationism is a mandatory subject in schools, TFM will be there to accept all the little children into His fold.

Ra-men!

No I wouldn't consider it for a minute. It is apparent that you are looking for a "religion" that can meet your earthly needs and provide you comfort in this life. That's understandably but unfortunately it's very short sighted. It comes from a secular humanistic mind set that denies that we have a Creator whom we will have to give an account to at the end of our days.

Hebrews 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

I'm sure that you don't believe that but your disbelief doesn't negate the truth. You might believe that it is safe to cross a particular street and having stepped off the curb get run down by a truck that you didn't see. It's the same way with the gospel message of Christ.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I want to stay with the facts
Jesus said I am the living Bread come down from Heaven
Anyone who eats My Flesh & drinks My Blood
Shall have eternal life.
I do not settle for pretend
Jesus is speaking of The Blessed Sacrament

Amen , Amen I say to you unless you eat My Flesh and Drink My
Blood you shall not have Life in you for I am the Life
So tell me people where you gonna find that

In a box or carton

You will find it through research. It is already written
A priest is forever in the line of Melchizedek
Seek those from the Royal Priesthood

The Living Bread <<<< come to know what it is all about
Know what religion Jesus Christ established

I don't think organized religion of any kind is useful to society. It makes people change.
As sure as you have the new religion then someone is going to want more, more power, more money, more TV time, you name it they will want more.
It's just human nature to be that way for some people.
I don't think it would change the world or the people who thought it up.

So you're asking if someone makes up a new god, will I believe in them? Of course not, what kind of question is that. The last thing the world needs is another religion.

maybe, it depends on how the religion works. I might be taking this a little far, but it sounds like you're thinking of a perfect religion where there are no bad characteristics of it. All religions are supposed to be like your description but there are a lot of corrupt people in this world.

No. There is only One True God - our Creator. He has given us a written guide to life - the Word of the Lord. We can't change this just to make a religion that better meets our needs.

Religion comes from God; it isn't man-created. No. I'm a Baha'i because it came from God; not because a human being came up with a good idea. I read and consider everything.

No. I am open enough to think. That's why I don't need some silly religion trying to do it for me.

It depends. Who defines "all the good things needed for todays human?"

It seems to me that all religion today is manmade "Dogma!"
