Stock is made by cooking meat or vegatables or both in water. Chicken stock is made by boiling chicken, the water becomes stock. For cooking dishes like you are you can make stock by boiling water with chicken bullion cubes. It's better with real chicken, but bullion works.

Stocl would be chicken broth. You can make your own by boiling the chicken in water. The fat that will come out in the water, will make the stock. Very easy to do. Good luck.
You can also buy chicken stock at the store.

Stock is similar to broth, except that one usually doesn't care if it's all clarified and pretty.
It's made by simmering various things in water for a long time. For example, if you bring home a rotisserie chicken for dinner one night, you can put the picked-over bones in a pot and just barely cover them with some water, then cover the pot and simmer them over medium to low heat all night. Pull out the bones and skim off the fat, and you have chicken stock.

Stock is either the juices that you get by boiling meat scraps and bones or the stuff you buy in a can labelled "beef stock." Same thing is available for fish or for vegetables. If making it is too much trouble just buy a can of it.

Stock comes in different forms as others has said.
It can be the juice remaining from the baked chicken. It can be purchased in a can "chicken stock/broth". It can be made from chicken boullion cubes, which can be purchased in the spice section.

the juice that comes from cooking a chicken in water--it comes in cans or cartons in the soup section. It adds a lot of flavor to dishes. A form of it is found in bouillon cubes, which is condensed, dehydrated stock.

Stock is the same thing as broth. You can buy canned broth at your grocery store usually in the soup section.
